Front desk and reservations great. Inside was old but clean. Ice maker out of service on 4th floor. Bed was lumpy. Right side was worn. So I slept sideways. Bathrooms very clean Hotel floor needs updated. Breakfast was all sugar options. More health options needed. Coffee was good.

The rooms are spacious and well maintained. We were most impressed with the front desk staff. They are so knowledgeable about the local area and were able to help us with all of our needs. Came to the area for a festival & waited last minute to book lodging. Not my first choice but it was okay. First 2 nights, someone had a dog barking at after hours. Sent a message to the front desk and it was taken care of within 30 mins or so. Area is ok, plenty of dining options locally.

The rooms had a very musty, moldy smell. We figured out that it was most likely due to the fact that the bathrooms did NOT have exhaust fans to pull moisture out so the dampness caused a bad odor in the carpets. I would think that exhaust fans are mandatory requirements by the health department. if mold spores are present that is very unsafe. ? The elevator and halls were in need of repairs and upkeep. The website states "pet friendly" but puts the $75 NONREFUNDABLE fee in very small print so it is not realized until after reservations are made. Perhaps there should be a dropdown menu added for pets within the # of rooms/guest registration page. The location is good, close to interstate access, mall and restaurants. The breakfast was average, items were not refilled as frequently as needed.

Wonderful

We visit the area a lot and had stayed at another hotel every time. Now that we have stayed here we will not stay anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms, lobby and commons areas are very clean.
