Nice hotel, but the bed and pillows were crap. The bed in my room was very firm, and the pillows were very soft. It was a nightmare scenario for a side sleeper! Miserable nights sleep. Staff was courteous, hotel was clean, but I won't stay there again due to the bed and pillow quality.

Everything was clean, wonderful, and all the staff super friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was absolutely fantastic (the food is AMAZING) and the gorgeous rooftop bar set the stage for a great weekend. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful Hotel, But Consistently Inconsistent We’ve stayed at 106 Jefferson multiple times, hoping each visit would mark a shift toward more polished service — unfortunately, “inconsistency” continues to define the experience. The property itself is visually appealing — modern, fresh, with a boutique charm that initially feels promising. However, great design alone doesn’t make a hotel memorable. What’s missing is cohesive management and a truly elevated hospitality standard. Each stay has delivered something different, and not in a good way — the welcome, the service quality, even basic operations feel unpredictable. It’s clear this hotel was envisioned as a hip, contemporary addition to Huntsville, but remains tethered to a deeply local (and at times, culturally tone-deaf) approach that doesn’t resonate with more worldly travelers. Southern hospitality has its charm, but hospitality at this level should be universal — warm, attentive, and above all, consistent. Sadly, we’ve decided not to return. The potential is there — the execution isn’t.

106 Jefferson-A Great Place to Stay in Huntsville!

At 106 Jefferson for a two-night stay and everyone I came in contact with was professional and friendly. The front desk staff was engaging and welcoming, the valets were on their game and the wait staff in the restaurant were efficient and accommodating. In addition, the location was close to everything in downtown Huntsville. I definitely recommend this hotel and will be back in Huntsville in November and plan to stay there again.
