We enjoyed the amenities around the property the most. Pickleball courts, rec room, gym, and restaurant with delicious food and great service. The resort-style vibe was just what we needed. Will definitely consider Tahquitz Pines again for a mountain getaway!

Relaxing and quiet. Just what we needed. My only complaint was people left dogs in their rooms that whined and barked. We are dog people and had ours. Policy is not to leave the dogs in the room. Both nights different neighbors left dogs unattended for hours. We would definitely stay here again. So much to do on site. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

Great resort for families. We loved all the amenities (pickle ball, basketball, swings, horseshoes) and the game room (ping pong, foosball, pool, air hockey) The cabin was perfect for our two night stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. It’s a really pretty property with gorgeous trees and nestled in the forest while also being super close to town.

Friendly staff at deck in and the room was comfortable. The only downside is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and everyone in the rooms next to you. If I stay here again I’d definitely book a cabin that didn’t share walls with any other units.

We always stay at Tahquitz Pines Retreat when we head out to Idyllwild. It is a great place to stay especially if you have kids, it is close to town and the property is beautiful. Highly recommended!
