Fun, family camp vibes. Our cabin was cute and cozy - our only complaint were the small (full size) beds and honestly I had a hard time getting comfortable but definitely not a deal breaker for us. All the amenities the property offers is just so much fun for the whole family (we have a 16, 14, 12 year olds). The onsite restaurant has good food. The staff was friendly. The community of Idyllwild is a very cute mountain community. Lots of trails and exploring to do. We really did enjoy our stay here and hope to be back soon.

We went at a quiet time of year which for travel with my parents in their 80/90's it was perfect! We loved the overall amenities and layout of the resort. My husband and I would love to go back and bring all our grandkids. I kept picturing them running around enjoying the pool, rec room, basketball and pickleball courts. We went to the restaurant a couple times. The staff was great as well as the food. Kayla was great and showed us some of the other rooms that were gathered together in hopes of bringing our kids and grandkids there and staying centrally together. We appreciated that greatly. I needed the visual of the rooms/layout. The town was close by and many cute shops and great little restaurants. Location of the hotel was perfect!

We stayed in cabin # 40 and it was lovely and spacious. The living room/dining area was a perfect gathering place for 10 friends to hang out together for a few hours after attending a Celebration of Life for one of our best friends in Idyllwild. Our only complaint was about the coffee in the cabin. It was so weak it was like drinking colored water. You definitely need to upgrade the quality of your coffee.

This was an easy off-season getaway from Los Angeles. Our cabin was quiet and comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area under the stars. We took advantage of the onsite restaurant twice in our weekend stay as well as the firepit. We had limited interaction with the front desk staff but they were helpful and friendly. Our first trip to beautiful Idyllwild was made better by our stay at Tahquiz Pines.
