I booked Hop Inn Hotel Iloilo from August 29 to September 3 but had to check out early due to a terrible experience. On the morning of August 30, I discovered there was no running water—the bathroom faucet was completely dry. I reported it to the front desk and was told it would be fixed “in a few minutes,” but nothing happened. When I asked for the manager, I was informed the manager only comes in later in the day. In a situation like this, management should be present to handle urgent issues, but clearly, they did not care.
For three nights, there was no water. I even had to ask housekeeping just to bring me water to brush my teeth and wash my face. Despite this, the hotel was still accepting guests. I requested a full refund, but the front desk said they would only refund 4 nights instead of 5.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Unprofessional, inconvenient, and unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
