Index is extremely charming! Tucked away between the mountains with stunning views. Bush House is rich in history and the efforts of the owners to preserve its rustic, old fashioned manner are amazing! This place is ideal if you seek quiet place with easy access to hikes. I would definitely come back!

The historic house is charming with lots of fascinating historical photos on the walls. As a family, we enjoyed the lounge area with toys and games. Room was cozy with everything we needed. The café has a good range of small breakfast bites which was a pleasant surprise. This was our second time staying at Bush House Inn and we would happily stay there again.

We stayed one night at the Bush House Inn and loved it! The rooms were nice and cozy, with a newly remodeled bathroom. We ate at the restaurant below and really enjoyed the food. We wish we stayed longer.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times. It’s super quiet and safe. The staff is wonderful. The bathrooms are very nice, with heated floors. The one shower has dual heads. Beautiful historic inn.

We stayed in the cure little detached cottage behind the main Inn. It was comfortable, quiet, and cozy place to stay. It’s was a convenient 30 minutes away from Stevens Pass for our weekend snow sports getaway.

1898 historical beauty

My room did not have a bathroom, but the available one just down the hall was very clean and I think I was the only one using it. Day or night it was clean, close and always available. The staff were excellent, so friendly and attentive. Because the hotel is quite old and historically registered, there were few modern conveniences in the rooms, but not missed to be sure! I watched my "TV" on my phone and they do have excellent wifi availability.

Hotel and town of Index are both gems

A beautifully restored historic property in a very sweet little town. Abundant hiking and natural beauty. The restaurant at the hotel is way better than it has to be — the chef knows how to cook. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay

Very clean. Owner friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to get me a glass of ice water when I arrived hot and tired. We loved this gem of a hotel and will be back. The ride is beautiful leading to the hotel. The view is spectacular.

This os a wonderful place to stay in all respects! And the shared bathrooms are no problem at all: my husband and I each had one to ourselves, they lock so you have privacy alone, and they are modern, sparkling clean and huge! This inn is fantastic!
