Eagle Dome at Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort

This 16' diameter dome sits on a treehouse platform in our apple orchard. It has a double bed and chairs to sit and look out of the bay window. Half the roof is a skylight, so the star gazing is wonderful. Underneath the dome is a large deck with a picnic table, and a fire pit nearby for great evening guarantee. There's no electricity or source of heat, but solar lights are provided. The bathroom is a short walk away; there is also an outhouse a few steps from the dome.
During your stay at this resort, you're just a quick walk from Saint Anns Bay. 1 hot tub is available.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Beautiful location, but it was not worth the price. The property looked much better in the listing than it did in person. The gardens were not well maintained, the shared bathrooms were not clean enough, and the facilities near the dome were not very practical for women. For nearly $300 per night, I expected a much higher standard and a true resort experience. Overall, I was disappointed with the value received.

Hidden jem

Myself and husband, had most enjoyable time. Right as we checked in, the staff was so warm and welcoming! We had dinner which was great, and even was a nice surprise had live music with dinner in a beautiful dinning room. The Dome was so comfortable and clean, and could hear waves and watch stars! This Something we never did before, now can't wait till next time! Great idea for lodging!!!
