The beds and bed clothes were clean and comfortable. The thing I didn’t like was the flash bang light in the bathroom. It was so bright and came on automatically in the middle of the night that it was painful.

We enjoyed our stay. Only downside was traveling with a 2.5 year old and the bathroom door is a barn style door with no lock so every trip to the bathroom was a family experience.

state of remodel

The Hotel was in a state of remodel. From my understanding it has been going on for over a year and a half. there was a large dumpster out back with a lot of furniture laying around on the grounds. There were alot of young kids at the hotel, so the pool and then the breakfast area were both very busy. But our room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Never Again

The room furniture and the pillows had stains on them, the bed was lumpy and noisy. The floors were strangely uneven, and not clean. The bathroom door was barn door style without a latching mechanism. The front desk attendant was unhelpful. I had to check out two days early due to factors outside of my control and the hotel refused to offer a refund for those days. I will not be staying at a Wingate hotel in the future. (Unfortunately I did not save any pictures of the ridiculousness of my stay.)

Some parts of the rooms had been renovated. Crumbs in the pull out sofa. Dust along the rim of tge bathroom vanity. Uncertain if there was chlorine in the pool. Laminatr floors in the hallways were buckling. Our guests were noisy in the hallway after 10 pm. The staff were very nice and helpful.
