This hotel was the worst part of our trip. Our room wasn’t clean upon arrival. The front desk staff then got us another room and asked him to inspect the room with me. We both then noticed that room wasn’t clean either. Finally our third room they have chosen ONCE AGAIN not cleaned. I was so uncomfortable at this point I didn’t know what else wasn’t clean in this hotel. The employee himself was so embarrassed and wouldn’t stop apologizing. The hotel manager was absolutely awful!! He didn’t even care to acknowledge my husband and I and just stood there standing. The two front desk employees were the only ones who seemed to try. Nothing was done and they just said “do you want to try another room or we can send someone up to clean one of the rooms you’ve seen”. Please don’t stay here. Interlaken offers so many beautiful and CLEAN hotels. This was an absolute nightmare and set back our vacation.

Wish you could control the air conditioner in the room. Had to sleep with windows open and so did others with very loud kids. Our view out the windows was a closed in box of the building walls. Walls had visible dust on them. Will go to another hotel next time.

Room was too warm and AC stat did not work. Our room was on the train track side and therefore, I would never recommend as it was noisy and we had to sleep with the windows open to cool the room. Additionally, no TV selection and just poor thought put into it.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast selection was very good. The bar options are a bit limited, and there are no other dining options within the hotel itself, though there is an Indian restaurant nearby that was just okay. The location is convenient—close to shopping and the bus terminal. One thing to note is that one side of the hotel faces the train platform. If you’re a light sleeper, the train noise can be noticeable, so it’s worth requesting a room on the quieter side. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

Good location. We stayed in one of apartments on the train station side. This side had great view of the mountains and part of the city. It was a comfortable stay.
