Nice room at a great location

Double DD Hotel is located perfectly next to one of the busiest and most interesting streets of Istanbul, with the Galata tower close by. The staff was most friendly and helpful who made us feel welcome from the beginning. Not everything was completely clean but nothing unacceptable, mere details. The room was small but comfortable, with a very nice bed and good service, although the noice from the building next door was challenging.

Location, Location, Location!

Fantastic location, close to Taksim Square, Galata Tower, main street shops and restaurants. 30-45 min walking to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room was clean and tidy. In addition, there is a minibar in the room with complimentary water (nice touch!). Staff is very friendly and helpful!

This place is a scam!

This hotel is stripping people off! So I made a online reservation and chose the option to pay at the counter but Hotels.com app asked me to enter my credit card information to complete my booking. It said I was supposed to pay at the counter when I get to the hotel. Plans changed and I called the hotel to cancel my reservation. They verbally confirmed to cancel so I didn’t do anything else. Boom!!! Two days after the supposed reservation date I saw a pending transaction on my credit card statement. They fully charged me for $72.10 for a visit I never made! Unbelievable! All I can say is that you be careful with these cheaters. There are plenty of other great hotels in the area with similar prices. Don’t let these people steal your hard earned money.
