Hotel is located super close to all the main attractions in Sultanahmet which is ideal for 1st time visitors to the city. On the whole our room was clean however some maintenance is required in the bathroom stall as the fixtures were not affixed to the wall properly (also no instructions as to how to operate the system) the bathroom sink had some damage that seemed to have been repaired recently but you could still see a gap around the washbasin where this was not fixed properly and if not careful your clothing would get caught and can be damaged. At night the room would get quite warm and the ac seemed temperamental and would work sometimes and on others it would pump out warm air instead of cold (we reported this to the concierge halfway through our stay and it was fixed whilst we were out for the day). This hotel was chosen following a previous stay in the city and we had admired the appearance/view which did not disappoint. Prices to dine at other rooftop restaurants are similar however the one at this hotel offers the safest (some others don't have railings to prevent slips/falls), cleanest and tastiest experience.

The most perfect location right in the middle of Haiga Sophia and Blue Mosque - literally 5/10mins walking distance. Very safe area and well lit. Seven Hills restaurant is a bonus on the terrace - the views are worth it alone! Room are very spacious and clean. A hotel I'd highly recommend!

Best hotel in Istanbul.

This hotel is a gem. It is in the heart of where every tourist wants to be in Istanbul. The view from the rooftop restaurant is incredible. The breakfast is otherworldly. The staff makes you feel like family!!!

Prime location, nice staff, clean rooms. Roof top restaurant is public access and there can be busy with groups of people using the stairs throughout the day to get to restaurant. Quiet at night.

I’m staying at Seven Hills Hotel for the third time — and every time I love it even more! The location is simply perfect — right in the heart of Sultanahmet, just steps away from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The views from the rooftop are absolutely magical, especially during sunrise and sunset — you feel like you’re living inside a beautiful postcard. The rooftop restaurant deserves special mention — the food is always delicious, fresh, and served with so much care. Dining there with the stunning Bosphorus view is truly an unforgettable experience. The entire hotel team is amazing. The reception staff are always welcoming, professional, and ready to help with anything you need. The bellboys and doormen are so polite and attentive, always greeting you with a smile. The housekeeping team keeps the rooms spotless and cozy, making you feel so well taken care of. There is a warm, genuine atmosphere in this hotel that makes you feel more like a guest in a family home than just another tourist. Seven Hills Hotel was the perfect home base for our time in Istanbul. The location couldn’t be better. It was right in the heart of the old city, just steps from the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They booked our hammam experience and arranged airport transfers, which made everything feel easy and taken care of. Their attention to detail really stood out. The rooftop terrace was a highlight. The view of the city and the Bosphorus was stunning, and the restaurant had great food in a peaceful setting. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day. Everything about our stay felt smooth, thoughtful, and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was perfect at the Seven Hills Hotel special class. As a VIP property we received a bottle of wine and enjoyed it looking over the city from the rooftop terrace. Bed was comfortable, front desk service was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.
