Does not honour offer from Hotels.com

Overall very good but they refuse to honour the offer from Hotels.com on food and beverage 20% off unless you tell the restaurant when your order so beware. They would not honour at checkout or after communication from Hotels.com . This is not good business and for that reason after 2 bookings I will not go back or recommend to friends.

Great service in a good hotel

Beautiful Ottoman old building with great view of the sea from the restaurant. Unfortunately the room is quite small and the hotel needs renovation. Alex at the reception was very helpful with his advice and is one of the main reasons for the overall rating we gave. Thank you Alex!

The bathroom was small in the ocean view room, the one in which I stayed. There is no escalator. However, the staff are friendly and helpful. The staff heled with taking luggage to upstairs room and helped with reservations for sight visits and Hamam. The breakfast was very good and the room ad excellent sea view!

The location is brilliant. It’s between the Sofia Hag and the blue mosque and if you follow the tram line down you can walk it to the grand bazaar. The hotel is quite simple in design - the bathroom was clean. The shower was unique with a hamam bowl in it - wasn’t too sure what to do there. My only negative point was that the pillows were awful. It’s not a luxurious hotel - the location is why you stay there. I found the staff very friendly. It’s simple- if you greet them with kindness and happiness they’ll be the same with you . Breakfast was a simple affair and did the job- but a lovely view over the water . I’d stay there again but would take my own pillow next time.

Top of the list as far as things to like, when you leave the front door you walk into a market and bam, your at the Blue Mosque! Shopping, tram, money exchange, places to eat, all close. The Hotel is lovely, but be aware there is NO ELEVATOR. I enjoyed the thick curtains that block out light, and the view from the balcony of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorous... stunning. We loved the breakfast which included things like tomatoes cucumber olives and fresh honeycomb, if you like your eggs easy over they will make you fresh eggs. They did come in and straighten up the room and make the bed every single day, which was nice. The tram is near and you can use it to go literally everywhere, you don't have to actually buy a card for the tram you can just tap your debit card, which is very convenient and cheap. I loved my stay here, no real complaints. One thing I would like to mention though is I went when it was cold outside, inside the Hotel was very hot, but of course you can control the temperature in your room. In fact most places we went to like on the tram etc they seem to like a lot of heat, more than what I'm used to (and of course for us it wasn't actually very cold either).
