I like pretty much everything about this place, nice and clean with the stuff going the extra mile trying to help me, the one thing that I encounter was that out of the two elevators only one of them was working and sometimes it would take longer or it would get full quickly, other than that I would definitely stay there again…

I stay here every time that I return to Ixtapa. The personnel at this hotel are top notch and always make me feel at home. Their pleasant attitude and helpful service are the reason that i always return to the Hotel Emporio. I, also, like the location because it is right across the street from good shopping and many restaurants. The bus / combi stop in front of the hotel makes it easy to visit the market and other places in the town of Zihuatanejo. The Palmar Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and fantastic for walking and sunsets. I really like this property and always feel relaxed and refreshed when I visit.

Property was nice. Staff was friendly. However, Language barrier is a problem if you don’t speak Spanish. Nothing was translated in English, which was frustrating. Adult pool was filled with young children and pool toys, even sitting at the swim up bar. Likely will not return.

Me decepcionó mucho esta estancia. El jacuzzi estuvo roto durante toda nuestra estancia y cada vez que preguntábamos por él, los trabajadores nos decían que iban a preguntar, pero nunca nos decían nada. También se armó una pelea y mi madre casi fue golpeada por uno de los hombres, y los trabajadores no hicieron nada para detenerla. El socorrista fue el único que intentó detener la pelea. Las señoras de la limpieza fueron buenas. Las señoras de las toallas también intentaron cobrarnos por dejar cosas en las toallas, algo de lo que no nos informaron al principio. Además, todas las noches el hotel ponía música muy alta hasta muy tarde, aproximadamente a las 00:00. Me pareció una gran falta de consideración; lo entendería si fuera para eventos especiales, pero era así todas las noches. Además, la plomería no funcionaba a las 6:00 y tuvimos que llamar a la plomería. Teníamos hormigas en la habitación.

The hotel has great pool and very attentive staff. Located across the street from shopping snd dining oprions. The beach is very nice. The breakfast buffet was okay, but the same everyday. I will stay here again.
