Price is decent and reflects the basic nature of the room/hotel. Very dated but ok for the night passing through on a budget. Reminded me of those old hotels in the movie No Country for Old Men.

Rooms were clean and nice size. Didn't like being behind the casino and no entrance to get in but go all the way around to the front. The ice machine did not work, which was inconvenient.

Great place to stay. Love the buffet and casino right in the same building. The food was very good. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and stocked. The beds are not the greatest, but other than that it was great.

I arrived for check in at 3:50 to check in at 4:00. they didn’t have my room clean and ready to check untill 4:43pm. Also I asked for non smoking and upon arrival the room smell like nothing but smoke.

Sometimes the old way is better.

Parts were all right. Parts were a disappointment. The room location was good, with easy access to the adjacent lobby, casino and parking. The beds were a good height, but not very comfortable. The coffee service provided in the room wasn't appropriate to the coffee maker (loose grounds & no filter on the caffeinated coffee) The room had a mini fridge, but no microwave. The outlets were not in convenient locations and there were not enough without unplugging other things. The double lamps over the beds had a faulty switch that would not turn to 'off' and had to be unplugged in order to sleep. The hotel had apparently changed owners within the last year and although a hot tub was advertised online we were told that there wasn't one. Also, what was a lovely and trendy gift shop has been emptied of merchandise and turned into a small display room if the wonderful life-sized Star Wars characters, along with several of the large collection of antique juke boxes that had all been displayed all over the entire property in the past. Why? They were part of the ambient atmosphere of Barton's and it was a real shock to see them moved into a small corner, away from the larger casino area. The most important disappointment for our group was the changed casino. From not even having a few tables open at all on Monday and Tuesday (we arrived Monday), to putting in multi deck card shufflers like at Cactus Pete's (that was why we mainly gambled at Barton's!), to removing many slot machines.

We had a good stay, very nice. But toilet ran all the time before I fixed it, bathroom sliding doors did not close well, curtain to patio needs a little work
