I opted for a budget option in Jackson and that's what i got. Despite the unit refresh which makes the room look good in the photos, my unit was old, had a few hairs here and there that housekeeping missed, and the entry door didn't seal well, so leaked a noticeable amount of cold air until i shimmed it closed with a door stopper once in the room. The walls are thin, so you will have no problem knowing what your neighbors are watching on TV, how they felt about their day (or their evening at the bar), or if they are feeling amorous. The saving grace to the room was the gas fireplace. Fire it up, slide the firm chair over to it, put on some noise canceling headphones, and you can warm up and tune the rest of it out. I don't see staying here again or recommending it unless i am in budget mode again, though. I wasn't around during the day to share any of this with the front desk and I didn't see it open outside of business hours. Oh well.
