The house is nice and generally clean, with great potential. However, our experience was mixed due to a few avoidable issues.We paid extra for early check-in, but received an email upon arrival with a long list of unexpected rules. While our group had no problem following them, the tone felt unwelcoming and set a less-than-ideal tone for the stay.Cleanliness was okay, but we found hair in the master shower, and the Blackstone grill was too dirty to use. When we asked for basics like extra trash bags and toilet paper, we were told to supply our own after the limited initial stock ran out. For a house that sleeps 10, this felt inadequate—especially since we had 7 guests. Though the reservation was for 6, we chose this place for its larger capacity because we knew the number could potentially change.Communication was inconsistent. The first response came fairly quickly, but later replies took 5–22 hours, so we didn’t raise further concerns like lights not working or the cleanliness issues.At checkout, we messaged the host as requested and only then received a list of cleanup tasks—too late, as we had already left. Although host did say it was not a problem, earlier notice would’ve helped.Overall, the home is clean and nice, but our stay was affected by a few hospitality issues and delayed communication. With better guest support, and communication this could be an excellent rental.
