Escape to the Jemez Mountains at our cozy 70s cabin, tucked away on 4.5+ acres bordering the Santa Fe National Forest.
Built in 1973 and just 2 miles from San Antonio Hot Springs, the cabin still has its original retro charm, décor and character. Spend your days exploring the hot springs, Valles Caldera, Fenton Lake and the surrounding forest, then come home, light the fireplace, relax in a hammock and enjoy some seriously incredible stars.
At nearly 9,000 feet, this is a true mountain getaway—quiet, private and surrounded by pines, aspens, rock formations and wildlife. Deer and elk are frequent visitors, and you may even hear elk bugling in the evening.
Inside you`ll find one bedroom with blackout curtains and a living room with a pullout sofa and foam topper. The steep driveway has room for up to 4 vehicles.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:
This is a remote mountain cabin. Power outages can happen, and mountain roads may be snowy or icy during winter. 4WD is highly recommended in winter conditions, and carrying chains is a good idea. Please check current road and forest conditions before traveling.
PETS:
Pets are welcome for 30.00 dollar per pet, per night. The property is not fenced and wildlife is abundant, so please keep pets close and under control.
SECURITY:
The property has 3 exterior security cameras and a Ring doorbell.
NO SMOKING:
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited anywhere on the property. A 500.00 dollar fee may apply for violations. Please see our House Rules for the complete policy.
Come unplug, slow down and enjoy one of our favorite little corners of New Mexico. We look forward to having you!
