The pool looked really nice but we didn't go in. Parking was easy with several entrances. Breakfast was pretty good.

Beautiful clean room and comfortable beds, breakfast was great, stayed there couple times before when I’m in the area, always a great experience, this time staff in the breakfast room were a little impatient with the young crowd serving themselves, making a mess, staff were frustrated by it. Having to mop and clean every where among the guests, it was too busy for them. Probably short staffed that day.

Smelled fresh when you walked in and the staff at the front desk were nice and professional. Complimentary breakfast was great as we ate before heading out to do other stuff. Although we didn’t get to use the pool, we got to look from the outside and it was big enough and seats for parents to keep a close eye of their little ones.

My wife and family were asleep when we received a call at 1 o’clock in the morning from a random guest within the Hotel who accused us of being too loud. When my wife explained that we were all asleep, the person began to say we were lying. We called the front desk and they basically said it was nothing that they could do.

I recently stayed at La Quinta in Clifton, East Rutherford, and overall, my experience was just okay. When we first walked into the room, there was a noticeable musty smell, which I’m guessing may have come from the carpet or the A/C unit. Speaking of the air conditioning, it made noise constantly—day and night—which made it hard to fully relax. The stay wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t meet my expectations. There’s potential here, but some improvements are definitely needed.

Perfect location right off the highway, 20 minute drive to NYC, the pool was great, free breakfast in the mornings. Very clean hotel. Our second time staying here and if we plan to come this will be where we stay
