Welcoming staff, the all inclusive was arranged well and times were flexible so guests could do late lunch etc. Great value for $. Beautiful surroundings and beach etc. Some infrastructure does need some upgrades though.

The food was really good. It’s on a public beach so locals would constantly harass you to buy things. One followed me into the water to sell a “boat ride”. It’s dangerous and run down outside the resort so we only left once for an excursion. Would I go back? No. For the price there are way better places.

The property was dirty, there were roaches in the rooms and restaurants and the staff were rude. Aside from the beautiful beach there was nothing outstanding. I would never stay at this hotel. Also they did not have any entertainment anywhere.

Just got home yesterday June 1…People were rude the food was awful rooms were dated and never got cleaned slept in sandy sheets for the 5 days! Buffet was cold n awful the one restaurant they had wasn’t always opened and the one nite we went there they refused to serve us with zero people in the dining room! When asked to clean room they said there was additional daily charge meanwhile was all included… Worker ziggy on the beach to lazy to clean up had the absolute nerve to tell us to pick up our cups! Staff is lazy n rude Only great thing in this hotel was the beach water n sun!I would def return to Antigua never this hotel

Very bad experience after long travel receptionist does not smile and unwelcoming since we arrived early they ask as to store our luggage but then our item that we bought from duty free got lost and manager did not help at all,they just did investigation but no response nor compensation at all, the only thing that is nice is their beach area.

Tip: Don’t book the Super Saver room — it wasn’t good. Pay a little extra for a regular room. My first room had a leaking AC and no refrigerator, but Ms. Marilyn, the manager, was so kind and quickly moved me to a better room and made sure I was comfortable. A taxi from the airport is about $40 — no need to pre-book. If you like to explore, it’s very easy to catch the local bus right outside Jolly Beach Resort. You can take #20 to St. John’s or #22 to Darkwood Beach ($3). Locals are very friendly and helpful. From Darkwood Beach, you can also catch a bus for $1 to OJ’s Restaurant or Turner’s Beach Bar — both great spots! The beach at the resort is beautiful, with a great view. There’s a small vendor selling items, and chairs are always available, which was a plus. Sheer Rocks Restaurant (off property) is a must — great food, beautiful views, and access to Big Fryes Beach. At the resort, the food was better than expected. The pool is great, the rum punch is delicious, and they have a nice coffee station. Plus, you can pick fresh mangos right from the trees on the property. There are a lot of mosquitoes — definitely bring spray! You can walk to the supermarket, harbor and Al Porto restaurant (15 min walk) If dining at the resort, wake up early to sign up for the à la carte dinner or eat at the buffet. Overall, my stay was great. I like to explore when I travel, and I’m glad I picked this resort “it fit my more adventurous style.

Jolly Beach is one of the best beaches in Antigua, so the location of the resort is the best feature. The grounds were well kept and scenic. The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was delicious. The cons include the hotel wifi was not available in some hotel rooms. The shower did not have an appropriate stand for holding the soaps, shampoos etc. The toilet seat did not match the size of toilet and it was very uncomfortable.

This property is absolutely great if you want to have a peaceful vacation, the ambience and cleanliness was great, the beach is cristal clear water, this is absolutely amazing. The only issue we had was with one of the lobby attendant that was super rude named karla. Other than that we had a exceptional experience with all the staff; including the girl in the spa (yolanda); she did a magnific work, I recommend her massage 200%. This property is really accessible if you rent a vehicle is really easy to access and park (self parking). I recommend this property for a peaceful experience and stress relief therapy.

The Property is Antiquated, very very old. The furniture in the room was very old. The Beach was Beautiful and the Food was Good. If not for that I would have left . Property is just very old. WiFi slow and Mosquitoes were having Thanksgiving Dinner on us. I wouldn’t Recommend unless you like old Buildings with old tiny Bathrooms and a million Mosquito Bites.
