When we arrived, one of our cottages stank really bad because there was something wrong with the sink. The whole cottage smelled like old diapers. The employes first tried to solve the problem and cleaned the sink but the smell came back after ten minutes. When we informed the lady at the reception, she told us she could do nothing more for us and that this was our problem. As we stayed polite and wanted to find a solution for the problem(which was obviously THEIR fault and not ours) the lady began to be very rude. We have never experienced behaviour like this before. She told us that she would call the police if we didnt get out of the reception, started yelling at us, didnt let us speak and told us we had to check out of the cottage. When we showed her that the cottage smelled as bad as in the beginning she agreed that that was true, told us again that we had to deal with that on our own and then simply walked away! We find this childish behaviour and bad manners unacceptable. In the end we (5people) had to sleep in the second cottage we had rented which was far to small for that many people. The other employees were more polite but that one unbelievably rude lady ruined our mood for quite some time. We wont stay at this place again.

Unfortunately this problem with the cottage had a bad smell was a fact, we could not succeed in solving the problem. We were fully booked and could not offer the guest a new objec and asked if they wanted to get the money back and that was accepted. The guest suggested that they could stay in the second cottage they already rented and asked if that was a good idea and we accepted that. The guest got the money back for the cottage and was invited for breakfast all the remaining days. We really would like them to come back again and then maybe they can reserve a bungalow superior which was on their wish-list.
