The Whaler Resort is perfectly located directly on Kaanapali Beach, just steps from soft sand and sparkling waters, offering one of Maui’s premier resort settings.
Relax by the oceanfront pool and hot tub or swim in the clear blue Pacific. Enjoy the convenience of walking straight from your unit right onto the beach. We offer easy to rent gear for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and other water activities. You can also enjoy a match on our tennis or pickleball courts or fit in a workout at the fully equipped fitness center.
Our location puts shopping, dining, and endless activities right at your doorstep, with Whaler’s Village, Maui’s premier oceanfront retail center, just steps away. Experience one-of-a-kind specialty retailers and a wide variety of food options ranging from fast food to oceanfront restaurants with live entertainment. Dinner cruises, snorkeling adventures, parasailing in the summer, whale watching in the winter, surf lessons, and more are all just steps away as well, with catamaran pick-ups right on the beach. There is a boardwalk in front of the resort and along the beach over a three-mile stretch of white sand and clear blue ocean, perfect for a short walk to Black Rock for some of the best snorkeling Maui has to offer, or for a relaxing evening stroll to complete your day in paradise.

• Remove all trash and place it in the trash chute located by the laundry area near the elevators.
• Check for personal belongings, especially phone chargers, sunglasses and beach gear.
• Turn off lights, A/C and ceiling fans before leaving.
• Lock all doors and return keys to the Front Desk.
