Everything about this place was beyond amazing!!! The one and only complaint was regarding the towel service….uughh….everyday you need a ticket for only one towel. You had to beg for towels. Other than that it was a completely excellent stay and I would absolutely stay again. LOVED it!!

The property was nice. The housekeeping staff was extremely friendly. Close proximity to Whalers Village and Black Rock beach. The elevators were extremely slow and several were not working during our stay. There was only one spa available for families and it was not working during our stay. Overall it was a nice place to stay but not sure we will return on our next trip.

Beautiful property. Clean and located next right to Whaler’s village with excellent restaurants and high end shops. Family friendly but not filled with screaming children. We utilized the adult pool most days which was quiet and removed.

Staff was always friendly and fast service. The inly thing i woud say was a bad thing is the fact the cute little shopping stores at this particular resort closes way to early. So if you plan on buying things for people dont wait to do it 🙂

This was my second time staying at the Westin, and I’m so glad I did! My partner and I loved all of the amenities, including all of the pools, the beach access, the spa lanai, and the best bird on the planet, Keoiki. We will definitely be back!

Not worth the price

Bed is mediocre but the covers are terrible. Shower is ok, weird bathroom set up. We stayed a week, debated about coming home earlier than planned. Overall, not worth the price and should have stayed elsewhere.

Very clean. Valley Alley arcade is fun for the family. Lots of food options on site including one economical "market" for all meals. Great host for the conference we were part of. Room for improvement: check-in was brutally slow at 2am. Servers around the pool are almost difficult to track down.

Excellent overall. The beach accessory rental could be cheaper. We ended up renting chairs and body boards from a shop outside for a week at the rate of one day from Westin. Wish Westin offered a weekly rate like outside options.

Review for The Westin Maui We had a wonderful stay at The Westin Maui! Our room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and crisp. A special touch was the surprise gift—beautiful Westin cups and a thoughtful note to celebrate our anniversary, which made our stay even more memorable. Lovely room. Since it was a busy weekend, finding a poolside spot took some patience, but after a short wait, we were able to get one. The nearby shopping center was a great convenience, offering plenty of options for dining and exploring. I attempted to use the hotel gym, but it was quite crowded, so I opted for a run instead. Running along the shoreline on the boardwalk that connects the hotels was perfect—scenic, peaceful, and very safe. We also took advantage of the golf course next door, which was fantastic and just a short walk away. One thing to note is that Uber rides to the hotel can be pricey, but since we didn’t need a car, it was still the most cost-effective option for us. The only questionable experience was with the concierge. When I went to ask for assistance, a gentleman working there was not very welcoming or helpful. He responded in a monotone voice with short yes-or-no answers and didn’t offer much additional guidance. I typically expect concierge service to be a bit more engaging and accommodating. Overall, despite that minor issue, we had a great experience and would absolutely return!

A perfect place to take your family

The Westin was a spectacular place to stay with our older elementary and middle school age children. The access to the beach, the spectacular pools and the ease of getting food made it an absolute delight. The lanai was a particular highlight. Gia is an incredible hostess who envelops everyone who enters her space with warmth. What an incredible addition to our trip. Our entire family was incredibly sad to depart, and we wish with all our hearts we will be able to return!

Overall, a great place, especially with kids. My main complaint is that the walls are thin. And they didn't quite seem to be able to handle the amount of traffic, but it was Valentine's weekend so it may have been busier than normal (one of the bathrooms near the pool was flooded, not enough chairs for the number of people, long lines for towels). But the room was very clean and nice, and the facilities were lovely overall. The beach and pools were fun and easy to get to. Parking was usually close to full, but we were always able to find a spot. Beds are too soft for my taste, but weren't uncomfortable. Food options were decent and nice walking distance to the Whaler's Village for shopping/additional restaurants. Easy drive to additional great beaches.

Great proximity to favorite dining spots, great pool system and nice beach. Only cons were the steep resort fee and daily parking fee. Take a ride from the airport if you don’t need a rental car.
