Ocean view penthouse overlooks downtown Kailua-Kona

Stay right in the heart of Kailua-Kona a stone's throw from the ocean, restaurants and
gift shops. This beautifully remodeled penthouse includes a high end kitchen, a large lanai and
a private sundeck that overlook the Kona coastline.

The upstairs bedroom suite opens to its own ocean view lanai. The suite includes a king
size bed and beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Downstairs, pocket doors seamlessly connect the living room to a spacious lanai where
you can enjoy year-round outdoor dining. Brand new flooring has been installed on the lower
level where you'll also find a comfortable guest bedroom and two bathrooms, which were just
remodeled with new vanities and walk-in showers. Laundry machines are conveniently placed
here.

Two brand new air conditioning units provide temperature control throughout the
residence.

Kona Alii offers free parking and a secure elevator lobby. Stroll the famed Alii Drive, hit
the pool and engage in a great book. Or take advantage of everything the island has to offer:
Beaches, diving, whale watching, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the options for adventure
are endless.

If you aren't in the mood for a night on the town, retreat to your penthouse and cook up a
tropical feast. The kitchen feels modern and elegant, and it has everything you need. After

I would give this property a 5 star across the board except for one issue. We loved the security, the view, the location, the space. I also liked that I got a text when we got there asking how things are and if we need anything please let us know. Because we stayed for 10 nights and there was 4 of us we ran short on a couple of essentials, toilet paper, kleenex, paper towel. Because my first text after arriving was let them know if we need anything I did just that to see if they could please send up some more essentials after being there a week and the response I got was kind of a surprise. I received a text saying we only give enough for a week and after that you have to supply yourself. That's all well and good except that if we had not paid for 7 nights, we paid for 10 nights. Then the next text was asking if the house keeping left us enough, evidently not for 10 nights. I was a hard no and to purchase our own. To us that was like purchasing for the next guest being you can't buy essentials one at a time.

This unit is well maintained and spacious, with a great view as shown in the pictures. It provides everything we needed during our stay, from pots and pans to beach towels. The location is very convenient, and it includes a private parking space if you rent a car. The host is responsive.

Excellent apartment, great location

My husband and I stayed a week in this beautiful apartment. The apartment is clean, well provisioned, and just as nice as it looks in the listing. The location is fabulous- on the waterfront, right in he midst of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Parking was easy- you have an assigned parking space. The only slight negative is that it gets a little noisy at night.

In the heart of town

Built in the early 70’s, the complex has an older feel to it. That being said, it is well maintained and clean. Advantage of location is that everything is walkable. Disadvantage is that there are bars nearby which can stay loud until closing time. Front and back lanais both have ocean views(partial)

A Plus Location -- Great Condo

Don't hesitate to book this condo. Here are some highlights: -- Location -- walking distance to many restaurants, very convenient and short distance to grocery stores (KTA, Safeway, Wal-Mart). Easy access to main roads for exploring.-- Fully Stocked Condo -- has everything you can possibly need -- plenty of kitchen tools/equipment, beach toys, small cooler, lots of stuff we didn't even use!--- Beautiful views -- spent a lot of time on the lanai on the main floor -- morning coffee, dinners, evenings, etc. ---- Communications were outstanding -- great directions for getting to the condo, accessing the keys, etc. Easy checkout instructions. Great all around. -- Comfortable -- beds were comfy, showers had plenty of water pressure and plentiful hot water, neighbors were quiet. There is noise from outside the condo, but it quiets down in the evening. Nice to fall asleep to the sound of the surf. 3 separate A/C units and lots of fans. If we go back to Kona, we will book this unit again.

We Found Our Home in Kona

The Kona Ali’i 710 Penthouse is our new home in Kona. We had excellent communication with Igor and Dawn about the unit and it was everything we had hoped for. The location is perfect, right in downtown Kona steps from all the restaurants and shops. The condo itself is beautiful, furnished with EVERYTHING one would need. We enjoyed the decks and use of the pool. We will be back

Make sure you check out area and location before booking

So to be fair we had the penthouse booked for 5 nights. Upon arrival looking at the area it wasn't what we imagined. It's an old condominium building. From the minute we pulled into parking lot to the walk to the elevator wasn't what we had thought. We walked into the place and the penthouse was nice and clean. The furniture was whicker with cushions on it. To be honest we decided to leave and book a resort on Kohala coast. Just didn't really feel safe because the area and place itself was sketchy at best. Just saying please check location and area place is in before booking.

Beautiful Kona Stay

Beautiful view from this Kona Condo. The inside was a bit dated but very clean and had all the supplies you would need for a wonderful stay in Kona. Beds were comfortable, but living room furniture could use some updating. Pick up a package of plastic wear when buying groceries.

Perfect location in Kona, walking distance to everything. The view of the ocean and town from the lanai (aka balcony/terrace) was much better than the pictures let on. We spent most of our time there, particularly in the mornings and evenings.

Great location and unit

We really enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving 2023. The unit was clean and spacious. The main deck (off the living room) was our standard spot for any meals that we ate at the house, and it's located in a nice area to get to other restaurants or island activities. Great experience!

This is a FANTASTIC location! The condo is located in the heart of restaurants, galleries and bars. The view when you walk of the front of the building id AMAZING! Super clean condo with lots of convenience and amenities. It is also VERY secure!
