A Nice Retreat and Excellent place to enjoy Kona.

This beautiful and well equipped home awaits you! Granite counters, tile floors and a wonderful king size bed are great, but you were drawn here to be on the ocean. Relax on the lanai as the ocean breeze refreshes you. Watch and listen as the surf splashes against the seawall. Look out for dolphins, turtles. and, in season, whales.

The condo is well equipped to make your stay here most enjoyable. We are always working on upgrades, so the pictures may not always show the newest upgrades. Cable for high speed internet and the flat screen tv is a must. The kitchen is ready for the chef to prepare their specialties, or maybe you have ordered some take out and dine al fresco watching the sun set over the ocean. Plenty of parking is around and usually steps away from the front door. Ground floor entry, no stairs, is especially welcome by seniors, parents with young children and those with much luggage. There is a grill just outside, at the communal area.

Sea Village is a well designed and maintained complex. Tropical plants and gardens are throughout the property. The pool and spa area are Oceanside in the center of the property. Next to those are the outdoor dining area with gas grills. A great place to gather and meet new friends. At the entrance to Sea Village is The Green Flash Cafe. This is an amazing place. It is small and everything is made fresh for you.

Kailua Village is less than a mile away. A leisurely 20-30 minute walk, if you are so inclined, or a 3 minute drive. There is lots of free parking behind the many shops and restaurants. You can also catch the Kona Trolley. The nearest stop is just feet away from the complex.

Great location. Very private place. I wish balcony sunshades worked for a bit more privacy. Great kitchen accessories. Portable AC only in main room, luckily we went in Winter so bedroom was good temperature with fans. We will be back for sure.

Unit was in great condition and had many more kitchen amenities that I anticipated. A great blender, coffee grinder, etc. There was an AC unit but I didn't need it, the fans were great. One suggestion, maybe update the beach chair options but that was able to make due with what was there just fine. Host and property manager were great. A

So, I messaged the owners the day before we were getting there to see if we could check in early. They messaged me back 2-days later to let me know we could check in two hours early. What! I'm already in the place! There communication stinks. My wife and I walk in the condo and instantly look at each other and said, wow this place is dated. The pics on the internet makes it look much better. The Kitchen had all you would need to cook anything, but you had to wash anything you used. Coffee cups had stains in them that washed out easy. Pans weren't clean, had to wash. We go in the bathroom and they have these two floor rugs that looked like they hadn't been washed in a while. We aren't going to walk on someone elses filth. My wife washed them both and they turned out great looking. The big rug in the living room was nasty also. We really didn't know untill we walked barefooted on it and sand and dirt stuck to your feet. Gross! Vacuumed the best we could. The picture on the internet is not the same rug. It wouldn't hurt to change out this rug every so often. The washer/dryer worked great. I'm taking a shower and my wife brings me a towel. Are you kidding me!! There's towels with holes in them and some had nasty stains. YEP, my wife put in washer and all stains came out but can't fix holes. That is what I call a cheap owner. When I rented this place, it said it had AC. Well, it does. It's a indoor unit that couldn't even cool down the living room. Owners:Change cleaning people!!!

We had a problem with the tv and Courtney came right out to fix. Thank you. The view was incredible had all the things you needed to cook with, but the best of all was the coffee grinder, nothing like fresh ground Kona coffee beans in the morning for coffee. We had a great time and will be back next year.

Location was great. Quiet, close to town, ocean view. Appreciated snorkel gear and beach chairs as well. Bedroom mattress was extremely worn and offered no support. Air conditioning in bedroom would be a welcome upgrade since the AC in living room did not cool the entire condo. Old frying pan in kitchen was unusable ..nonstick coating was completely scratched off. Air conditioning in living area was loud so unable to hear television unless volume turned up to maximum.

Perfect condo in Kona

This place was perfect for us. Loved the Hawaiian decor. Even though on first floor, the ocean front lanai is still above the rocks and seawall, just gorgeous view of the ocean. Kitchen well stocked. A/C and fans kept us cool enough. Lots of beach accessories available to use. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Courtney!

Lanai Views!!

Overall acceptable interior with an exceptional view.The furnishings were definitely dated, but our vacation didn’t revolve around the unit so it didn’t disappoint us too much.It was super helpful that there were extras outside for the beach ( coolers, umbrellas, snorkels,Goggles, and even a boogie board)!Also helpful was a shelf filled with “extras” that past tenants had left behind containing items like suntan lotion, skincare, bug spray, band aids, and cleaning products we might need throughout our stay.On the down side, things definitely could have been cleaner. The windows had fingerprints and the tracks were filled with bugs (gnats). Strangely enough I noticed this because I had just cleaned them in my home prior to leaving.Overall, it was nice stay. At no fault of the owner, and just by the “luck of the draw”, we were on the bottom floor. The people above us had a toddler who didn’t much like to go to bed and screamed as he ran from one end of the house to the other EVERY night at about 10 pm (his bed time I presume.We did have a wonderful trip and would stay again If we can back. Thank you!!

Lovely Ocean Front Stay

This view was worth every penny! We spent so much time out on our lanai right over the rock wall and then the blue beautiful Pacific Ocean. We so enjoyed watching the outriggers, boats on excursions, surfers, paddle-boarders and even a cruise ship! The A/C in the main living area works great- really cooled down that part of the unit. The fans do a pretty good job of keeping the bedroom cool. The bed - OMG- it is soooo comfy! We slept so good! Bathroom was small but efficient. Pool and hot tub area nice size. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again! Mahalo!

A lovely view of the ocean

The property has a lovely oceanfront view. It was clean with updated furniture and kitchen. The kitchen had all I needed. There were lots of items for the beach to use such as chairs, boogy board, etc.There unfortunately was a very strong, unpleasant chemical smell in the unit that persisted despite fans and cross ventilation. Perhaps a strong antiseptic cleaning fluid or bug spray was used throughout. One suggestion is to replace the scratched Teflon-type pans in the kitchen.Overall, the unit was great.

Not so clean

The condo had enough space. However it was not clean. Sticky floor, fridge gull of half used sauces. Cubboard with remains. We left after 4 of the 10 days. The mansger and VRBO hsndled this verh well and money eas regunded in 3 days.

Great location and views

We had a great time staying at this condo on the water. There are beach options nearby, and the views of the sunset from the lanai were spectacular. It was an easy walk or ride to town, and there are great food and drink options to choose from. We would definitely stay here again next time we're visiting the island!

Phenomenal ocean view

The view is the best part of this property! It's super close to the ocean, and the sunset is visible daily. We aired out the unit daily by leaving both the lanai doors and the front door open; the screens on both looked to be in great condition and worked well to keep large bugs out. The property was more or less exactly as pictured. It's not exactly clean, but it was clean enough. There were items left behind from past guests, and the kitchen cabinets were disorganized. The bedroom and bathroom were also poorly positioned in the unit, so they essentially got no meaningful airflow. I'm personally not a fan of the decorations, but that's highly subjective. The AC unit worked very well, but we didn't need it because of the great airflow through the open lanai and the front doors. One thing to note for sensitive sleepers is that this unit is on the ground floor, so you will likely hear all the people waking up in the morning, stomping down the stairs, and slamming doors. At night, the property is brightly lit. I personally considered that a negative point as I wanted to be able to stargaze at night since the air was so clear during our stay. With that being said, the night sky was still sufficiently dark. The location is great! It's super close to the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona while remaining very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic weather on this side of the island as well, but it was pretty hot even in mid-November. Finally, as I've mentioned, the view is amazing!

Perfect location, great ocean front

We loved having our morning coffees and sunset cocktails on the balcony, as the ocean view is so beautiful! The location is perfect for all kinds of activities and meals in downtown. The king bed and pullout sofa bed are both very comfortable. Would definitely come back!

Suggestions

I suggest maybe putting some information regarding beaches that are close but and whether or.not they are swimmable, and a sign to alert people there is a screen that can be pulled on the lanai. As a first time visitor to Hawaii I think those would be helpful since we drove around and never able to get in the beach area because of parking and then to find out when we found a beach with parking it was not swimmable at all. I will say the condo itself was nice and clean and I never needed to contact the host.
