While I agree that there has been an attempt to begin renovations on the property, our room was lacking screens on windows, there were holes in the walls, the carpet was stained. It wasn’t clean; the bathroom had clumps of hair on the floor. We just needed a place to sleep while on route to Vancouver so luckily we only had a short time there.

Quite honestly, pay the extra $50 to stay elsewhere. Staff was nice when we arrived. We got into our room which eas extremely humid and hot. The lamp in the corner was not attached to the base and fell on my 4 year old, not to mention after 2 minutes it was so hot it could have started a fire had it been touching anything. The bed had food/hair on it, we found nail clippings, and god knows what else on the mattresses. A used spoon on the floor, and the walls etc were extremely dirty. We slept in our clothing on top of the covers the entire night. It isnt often I write reviews, and a bad one nonetheless, but I felt this needed to be said to warn others. Mistakes were made selecting this place to stay. We brought our concerns to staff however, the only thing said was they could put new sheets on the bed.... no thanks. Not worth it. To the staff, washing the walls, doors, and a coat of paint would do wonders. And maybe hire new cleaners.

Disgustingly Dirty Dive

Absolutely abysmal place. It is very clear whoever owns this place is doing absolutely nothing to maintain it. And they clearly do not care. Our toilet seat was not secured and rattled around the bowl every time we went to use it. Massive amounts of paint were stripped off the door frame of our bathroom, Dust hung thick on top of the base boards. The outside halls boast disgustingly dirty, filthy carpets. I tripped, fell and could have seriously injured myself over a tarp wrapped around something out front. The so-called continental breakfast was more than minimalistic. The bed was OK and that's all the good I can offer. I would sleep in my truck before going here again.It is a complete dive in every sense of the word.

I stayed 4 nights. The last night and the final morning there was only barely warm water, not enough for a shower. I asked for a kettle on check in but it never arrived. The breakfast was a choice of cereal, toast, drinking juice boxes, or toaster waffles and coffee. Very basic. BUT the price was definitely right! Less than $100/night plus taxes. $435 all in for all 4 nights. Ask for a room away from the road! Note: stairs only to 2nd floor.

July, 2025 - Best Budget Inn and Suites - Review

They provided a wrong key for the room on the 2nd floor. There were bugs in the room. After a long journey, we didn't get the rest what we were looking for. The breakfast menu was terrible.
