Perfect location close to the main ski lifts. Book in advance for the restaurant, if you want to eat there. It's okay, but generally restaurants get pretty busy in Sun Peaks at the weekend. Hotel is nice, but has all the usual issues of a ski hotel that gets a lot of wear and tear. Overall, would definitely recommend.

While it’s an older resort, it’s still quite clean and rooms have been renovated. If your room has a connecting door to the neighbor, it hardly has any sound barrier so it was quite noisy due to the folks next door.

Property is very tired and cleanliness was lacking. Coffee maker/kettle in the room were new and the bed/pillows were comfortable. Front desk staff were good. Concierge and pool staff were checked out and unprofessional.

This is a beautiful facility! Proximity to slopes is easy....ski in ski out. Unfortunately the hot tubs were closed due to inclement temperatures.

We have stayed at SunPeaks Grand several times, but this stay was not up to the usual standard. Our room has several issues: the bedding and pillows seemed quite worn out, only the speak on the phone worked so we could receive incoming calls from reception about issues in our room, the fridge didn't work, and when it was replaced, the new fridge froze all our items. They were filming a movie in the lobby and ballroom areas, and several times we were asked by the movie crews to keep it down?!! We were just having fun in the games room. Also, a major let down was the hot tubs were closed most of the time, which is why in the winter we choose to stay at this hotel. We could have stayed elsewhere for far cheaper has we have known the hot tubs would be closed. It was a disappointing stay unfortunately.

Hotel is within walking distance of Sun Peaks ski resort and is located witin the village. Great activities you can sign up for such as yoga and skating. Good dining options within the hotel.
