Pretty Good Overall...

Liked it overall. Interesting location, in the middle of a residential area but right on Kaneohe Bay and they have a boat exclusive to the hotel guests that you can pay to go snorkling at the reef and walking on the sandbar and swim with the sea turtles (well worth it). Also cool that you can use the hotels kayaks to paddle around the area. Really cool pontoons next to the estuary to have an afternoon drink and/or snack (also good they have BBQ's to cook your own meals). The stairs/driveway are pretty steep, a ramp would be better. The rooms aren't too bad - a little tired in some ways but you don't spend a lot of time there anyway with a pool and other activities to do. I deliberately chose to stay away from Honolulu/Waikiki on this trip and I think it was the right choice - much quieter than the tourist madness of that area, though still accessible via Uber. I would consider staying here again and had a good week.

Had the manager had a better response to a problem

I thought the resort was better than the manager! I would have rated it higher but I brought to the attention of the manager a problem with an insect hatching. The Front Desk staff were very hospitable, professional and helpful. Our suite was spacious and we loved the kitchen and coffee machine. We accessed the laundry services and used a kayak. All were great. The fees added quite a bit to the overall cost so pay attention. The setting is quiet, on a small inlet with floating platforms to hang out on, which we enjoyed. It is not a fancy place but the location, comfort, eco-friendly aspects and the staff were worthy of an above-average rating.

The atmosphere is amazing, the views are wonderful, staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Short walk to the ocean to watch the sunrise. Sunset was beautiful and could be watched from the main lobby. Sit and relax to live music. We were busy and wasn’t able to participate in the morning yoga or get out on the water with the Kayaks ): Breakfast was homemade vegan banana bread, fresh fruit and coffee - delicious. This eco friendly, chicken frolicking, animal friendly treasure is worth checking out!

Beautiful views. Quiet area. Helpful staff. Clean room with a kitchenette. This was our first trip to Hawaii. I chose this resort because of the views and peaceful atmosphere. If we ever get to come back to Oahu, we will definitely stay here again.

Nous n’aimons pas notre chambre, nous somme à 3 pieds du gaz propane. Notre balcon c’est une prison. J’ai la pire chambre de l’hôtel et vous me dites que vous m’avez fait un surclassement. Les BBQ ne fonctionne pas et j’ai fait bouillir mes 2 steaks à 45$. Que je n’ai pas mangé. Aucune table extérieur pour manger à côté de BBQ. Et je n’ai aucune table extérieur dans mon unité. Je ne suis pas venu à Hawaii pour manger à l’intérieur. Vous devez indiquer dans la description de votre chambre que c’est une prison, avec aucune table extérieur. Je n’aime pas mon séjour.

Property and accomodations were nice but we had small problem with A/C. It was not working properly (vent partially.clogged) and we contacted the staff. They confirmed the problem and were unable to fix it. They said they were contacting someone but two days later problem not fixed.

Paradise Indeed

This resort really was a little piece of Paradise. Not sure if it is intentional, but their photos don't do the place justice--it is even more beautiful than we expected! Super friendly staff and well worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful piece of paradise not to far out. If you are looking to relax and feel like you are on vacation this is the place. Away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, yet there are restaurants and grocery stores in the area. You will need a car to get here and to shopping. We went kayaking in the bay and saw so many turtles and they were huge.

We had a 1 bedroom Bay View suite, and the room, the lanai, and especially the view were even better than the pictures posted on the hotel's website. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lanai and enjoying the view.

They Mountain view room was just a view of a water channell with trees and the very tip of the mtns it should of said pool view because that is what it was and noisy..Parking as you had to pay for it was awful. Very limited. The room was nice and a nice size but there was no chair to sit in for reading, watching tv or putting shoes on. There were 2 tall stools with the inside table and 2 tall chairs with the deck table that you still could not see over. For the cost of a room not worth it to me. It is out of the way but not peaceful. Lots of stairs in and out to get anywhere on the property. Had to carry luggage up and down those stairs. SAD
