Stayed here for the Chappell Roan concert. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. My room was recently renovated and super comfy. Location is good for the ww1 museum and a good walk to downtown.

2 nights no parking at the hotel one night they waived the charge the next night got charged and to top it off I was told that if I couldn’t find a parking on the streets because of the parking was full people that were not staying at the hotel were parking there I paid 5 nights to stay there it was unprofessional and not convenient I don’t judge or critic Fairfield hotel because of one bad experience but I nos over $800 for poor quality

Great stay from check-in to check-out. Theus was warm, professional and welcoming. He went above and beyond to provide me with information about the city. The room was clean and spacious. I appreciated the on-site parking. For my stay I was able to walk or utilize public transit but still had to drive to partake in certain places. It was nice not having to worry about parking. Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches.

Hotel conveniently located to Downtown and many attractions, such as Money Museum at the KC Fed, WWI Museum, Union Station, Farmer's Market, etc. Room very clean and comfortable. Very good AC. Good water pressure in shower. Excellent hot breakfast and good coffee. Would definitely return to this spot.

The hotel was being renovated and we were not made aware. When we pulled in to park, there were boxes of toilets sitting right in front of oir parking space. There was tape on the floor around the elevator and lots of dust and scratches in the elevator. The elevator also quit working while we were there. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. We look forward to trying ths place again once it is renovated.

criminal activity

three cars were broken into while parked in the paid parking lot with visible surveillance cameras. per the general manager, it is against fairfield inn (and parent company marriott) to notify law enforcement when crimes occur on their property. this is a dangerous precedent for encouraging all manners of criminal activity as well as both unsupportive and inconvenient to require all of your out of town guests with limited time frames to file individual online police reports (also a major flaw in the kansas city police department) with response windows averaging from 4 hours to 30 days. most stays do not have that level of flexibility. had the general manager called on behalf of his property and the three guests and vehicles affected, police would have been sent to the fairfield inn and been required to file reports on all three plus the establishment. instead they hide behind a policy that jeopardizes guest safety over the possibility of negative press associated with their branding and location. its not the cleanest or most luxurious place by a long stretch, but it is unsafe.

Some parts of the property was being renovated and it left the entire property a mess. Dirt and drywall all over the floors. The construction staff was also very unprofessional and extremely loud. I tried to do a conference call in my room and other participants could clearly hear the loud music, singing, and yelling done by the construction crew down the hall. It’s within close proximity to my destination of the federal reserve bank but I will gladly commute longer to avoid staying here again
