The room had a definite order whenever we walked in. We actually sprayed perfume to mask the smell. The pool, the MAIN reason we chose this particular hotel, was closed the morning of our departure. When we left I asked why - it was because chemicals had to be added/or had been added because the pool "guy" didn't work on Sunday (we checked out Monday morning). Was it just laziness the sign wasn't taken down and we didn't get to swim. My 11 year-old-granddaughter was very disappointed, as was I. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The woman at the desk at check-in was not very friendly. The woman at the desk at check-out was MUCH friendlier and even offered my granddaughter candy. Felt like I was interrupting when I checked-in. The pool itself was very dark, not clear. Don't know why but we swam anyway. Overall, the beds were comfortable and we made the best of it. Room 409. You should figure out what the smell is and get rid of it.

This was probably a decent hotel at one time, but it feels like they’ve given up. Rooms and common areas were dirty, everything that could be empty (drinking water, hand sanitizer, soap, lotion, etc.) was, oatmeal was uncooked every morning, breakfast food was left out into the evening. Seems like they’d be trying harder with new competition right across the highway.

Hotel and room were fine. Breakfast was mediocre. We got there during the week and there was hardly any food. On the weekend it seemed like they put out more, but really no healthy choices. Went shopping and bought bananas and English muffins and fiber cereal to eat.

The overall appearance of the place is beautiful. Loved the size of the rooms and bathrooms. The room was clean with the exception of the vent in the bathroom that had built up dust and the microwave area was very dusty on the side and behind the microwave. The pool was a plus and so was the free breakfast.

Breakfasts were good. AC could keep the room warm or cool, but never found out how to hold a solid temperature (had to get up in the night to turn it to the other setting to get back to comfortable). The beds were comfortable, the location was great. The pool had a chemical balance issue, and even people outside of the pool got sore eyes and sneezing from being near it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. One morning a sign was put out saying "sorry, we're out of milk". Knowing that's helpful for oatmeal and cereal options, I don't know why a gallon or two couldn't be purchased by a secondary staff member.

This was the most unclean place I have ever been! There was hair everywhere!!!! The sheets had not been changed!! The room had not been cleaned, yet the bed was made as though they were trying to pass it off as clean!!! So bad that out of all the traveling I have done this is the only place I could not even stomach to stay. The only good thing I can say is the lady at the front desk did the right thing and refunded our money so we could go find another hotel!
