We stayed here for a quick overnight during a long road trip, booking two rooms (girls/guys) and arriving after 10pm. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated after a long drive.
The property itself shows signs of wear. There was only one luggage cart available, so guests had to take turns using it. Upstairs, the girls’ room had a strange odor—possibly from the carpet or a heavy deodorizer. The guys’ room was worse, with a strong smell and visible mold under the AC unit. The replacement room had a different issue: several stink bugs inside, which staff attributed to a previous guest leaving the window open.
In the girls’ room, the nightstand electricals (lamp, clock, charging port) didn’t work until we moved the bed to adjust the plug. Noise from outside the hotel—banging and loud voices around 3am—was disruptive, though we managed to sleep okay overall.
We skipped breakfast and checked out early. The location served its purpose, but the building and rooms are in need of updates and better maintenance. Would recommend only for a brief stay if you’re passing through.
