I had the absolute best time at TRS Yucatan. Stayed here with my wife and her parents and was absolutely blown away. We went to the hotel to celebrate a few special occasions (Our anniversary since we first met and also my in laws wedding anniversary and their birthdays as well). The staff there went above and beyond in every single aspect and we will never forget it. This hotel now may have our business for life, not only because of how much we love the resort and all the amazing food options, but mainly because of the service level. Weve never experienced such first class customer service at any hotel weve ever stayed at. I want to call out a few exceptional team members of TRS by name: Mariana Roscalvo (Their Chief Concierge) was amazing with communication and took care of every single request we had. She was truly amazing and we hope the hotel realizes what an absolute gem they have with her. Just amazing work and coordination. Her team was amazing as well in our villa 68 (Belen, Gabriel and Eduardo) all did a phenomenal job and took care of all of our requests in a perfect manner. Carlos Froilam Tuz Luna (Rooms Division Manager) was so great as well and made sure our rooms were perfect to celebrate our special occasions and stat at the property. Excellent work and thanks again Carlos for your impeccable service! Jonathan Nieto Villalobos (Manager On Duty) checked on us every evening at the restaurants we booked at and made sure everything was perfect. Well be back!!

We stayed at this resort property for our Honeymoon. The resort was one of the best resorts we have stayed at in Mexico 🇲🇽. We had the pleasure at staying at villa 63. The service provided by the butler George was amazing. He attenddd to our every need and made our time there so memorable. The whole resort of upper class with premium drinks and food. The food was incredible and we reccomend checking out La Broeme. This french resturant was so incredible. The chef made sure to come visit us and explain the menu and speak about it. His passion for food was infectious. We had the pleasure of meeting many servers along the way but it was Alfonsa who made our stay the most incredible. She was so attentive and anytime we ran into her around the resort she would stop and chat with us. Made us feel like family. We will definitely be back :)

Staff is great some of the highly touted restaurants didn't live up to the hype. Large complex, pretty much need a golf cart to get around and at times carts aren't always available. Beaches were a mess do to the large amount of Seaweed that they were working very hard to clean up. Butlers didn't always have current beach conditions. We weren't given rules regarding private areas until we were asked to leave a private beach, even though we spent an entire day at the location the day before without any issues. Expedia doesn't list the dive center which is right on the property. Scuba Jake is right there and a very good dive center. I happened to bump into the guys after we were asked to leave the private beach. I booked 2 dives with them to avoid going back into Akumal for my scuba outings. The butlers are really more like concierge for your building than actual butlers that you may find at other resorts. They handle your needs by organizing things for you. Overall it is a very good resort with excellent service. They need to improve on communications and don't hamper chefs and line cooks with lower quality foods. The italian and french restaurants had good food and excellent service. The steakhouse not so much, however service was exceptional. The ribeye was tough and the potatoes and vegetables were luke warm at best, desert was awesome. The Hacienda buffet was the best buffet that we tried at the resort.

AC didn’t work, butler service (Francisco) & the staff is terrible. Very unorganized, took an hour to check in, they wanted to upsell everything, it was definitely not an All Inclusive resort. Beware of the “$600 USD” resort credit, once you get there they will give you a coupon book instead to use on wine, cake, etc. Things that should be included as a all inclusive resort.

This was our second time coming to TRS over a two year period. As expected, the service was top notch, food was amazing and the shows where a ton of fun! What I dont like from this second time vs the first time is they have removed so much of the benefits of being a TRS member and monetizated it. All the extras from the first time that came standard were removed and I had to pay even more separately than the top dollar I spent to come to TRS in the first place. What we lost, hard liqour selection in room, 25% of all seating at the infinity pool, less transportation, less special treatments because its all about PTC membership now, meat cuts I had for free last time this time I have to pay extra to have like lobster, steak cuts. Also, the coupon book has been completely trimmed down compared to the first time. To be clear it is a amazing hotel if your looking for relaxation, amazing food and top service from the staff to make your stay special but, the standard "luxury privileges" of being TRS have diminnished to what it used to be before. Lastly, SHAME ON THE PHOTOGRAPH PEOPLE! WHAT YOU CHARGE IS ABSOLUTELY ROBBERY AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELFS. Your prices have doubled over 2 years and charging $17 per unedited digital copy is absolutely disgusting.

Came here for an anniversary celebration and really enjoyed it. The resort is huge with lots of options for entertainment. We were surprised that there were children at certain parts of the resort, but it because it’s connected to the family section. TRS is the adults only section where it’s more relaxed and quiet. The family sections are more lively with shows, music, and people. I liked the convenience of their app allowing me to book dinner reservations, view the map, and explore entertainment/class options. I do wish they added more details to the online map to replicate their paper map. Cleanliness is overall great. Staff came to clean our room everyday and the public spaces were well kept. However, our throw pillows and sheets always had a musty smell to them even after requesting new ones. It was very faint but did bother me when I would pull the sheets up to my neck. Food was probably the worst part of our stay and the main reason for knocking off one star. It wasn’t awful, but it was very mediocre at best. Food was a 2.6 out of 5. We were still able to enjoy ourselves through the good drinks and service. Cart drivers are available all throughout the resorts making transportation easy. Wifi is also available.

We came here for our honeymoon for a few days, definitely need at least a week to get to know the whole resort! We were treated like royalty the moment we walked into the hotel. There’s so many dining options, entertainment, pools and activities ! We will be coming back for a longer time.

This property was amazing from the lobby assistants that grab luggage and give rides when you first arrive .S/O to Manu and Gabriel for showing us around. To the front desk helping us getting checked in Erik really broke down the whole resort and access to us. Best kept secret for food is The Nest . Wifi is on point no lagging if you have to do work and thing of that nature. Had a great time will be back.
