The staff was great. They were able to accommodate our request for adjoining rooms at check-in, and having free laundry was a huge bonus. The rooms were clean and relatively modern. The water pressure for the shower was terrific.

Great value for money.

Super good value for money. For the cost of a budget hotel, you get a decent 4 star full service hotel. You even get VIP lounge access for free snacks and drinks. How good is that? Thats usually reserved for elite members in a proper hotel chain. Its also very close to MRT station very easy to get around. The downside is that its in the old area called Yancheng district so not a lot of modern shops around. But it has its charm. Many nostalgic markets and hidden street food thats only known by locals. Its also very close to the cultural precinct Hamasen, so for someone who likes a bit history and nostalgia, it was the perfect place.

This is our second time staying here and we LOVE IT!! The staff is so friendly and helpful--one crossed the street to help us rent bikes. The breakfast is AMAZING, the rooms are spacious and clean. Close to the metro and bus stop. Walking distance to the harbor area and attractions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A wonderful stay

The hotel staff is so helpful and accommodating and will immediately respond to requests. Our room was upgraded to a larger room at no charge. The room was large clean and quiet and very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet is truly excellent with many delicious dishes to choose from. There are many restaurants in walking distance. A very nice vip lounge open to all guests is on the 7th floor with complimentary beverages and snacks. Our stay here has been outstanding and we will return to this hotel for sure the next time we are in Kaohsiung.

Far away from attractions, rooms were dirty. Grime and gunk on the walls, walked into a dirty room with used qtips on the floor/bathroom not wiped down and weird sludge on the walls. Got a room change, wasn’t that much better. Not sure how this hotel got such high reviews. Staff was friendly and tried to help.
