My major complaint is about the $250 hold/security deposit that has no warning before booking. I stayed ONE NIGHT for $293 Total. How is more than half my stay payment justified? The Hyatt doesn’t even do this, and they go for 1k a night. I have news for the Owner, there is Nothing in those dated rooms worth $250 to damage. This is not an apartment, it’s a 300 sq ft hotel room, let’s calm down. The Staff: upon arrival the loveliest, most helpful, kind woman checked me in (I wish I had her name), that Queen is the only reason this isn’t a one star review. Unfortunately there’s other staff that are there at 4pm, one girl in particular who was the polar opposite of the woman who checked me in. I asked about the $250 charge and she had the nastiest attitude before I could get my question out. She very clearly hates that job. As far as my room cleanliness: I had someone’s pubic hair threaded through the cotton shower curtain…so, can’t rightly give 5 stars. But the hotel isn’t horrible, someone in charge seems to the it’s Four Season status. I could overlook the pubic hair in the shower curtain, the nasty attitude from other staff, etc-But not the $250 hold for one night.

Our first room had a great view but was not updated at all. We requested a nice room in advance as we were celebrating an anniversary. Then they began doing construction next door. It was extremely loud. We requested a room change. After the manager blamed Expedia for not notifying us of construction they switched us to a different building on the third floor with no elevators. The room was nice a view was exceptional but the shower was completely backed up. We had to go back to the front desk that night and request maintenance to the shower. All in all, we found the hotel to be somewhat run down and the staff quite unhappy and unaccommodating. No one addressed you when you walked through the lobby, no one wished you a friendly good evening or anything remotely similar. I found the hotel uninviting on such a beautiful and generally friendly island. We will be back but not at this hotel. I don’t often write reviews and only a handful of negative ones but felt I needed to due to the lack of friendly service, poor hotel conditions and poor management.

Sliding window was foggy between pains and could not see view through window. Charged a 27 dollar a day resort fee thatni did not expect. Parking late evening is full and must find parking off site.

The accommodation was ok. Not well maintained or particularly clean. There was alot of noise from construction going on. Bedding,bathroom and floor were cleaned twice during our 2 week stay. Counters were dirty and kitchenette very basic. The windows were dirty and the air-conditioning unit outside very rusty. The gardens were beautiful and it was a great location for the whole island. Front desk staff especially Peggy were very good. There was one women who's name i did not get was very disagreeable. Larger woman, seemed to hate her job and the guests. Overall we had a good time and would recommend the island. Would be unlikely to use this accommodation again.

The room was a little dirty. Sand on the floor. Cup rings on the tables. I spoke to a desk person and they told me the room wasn't scheduled for cleaning yet. The room itself was pretty good. The layout and location of the hotel was what I liked. Walk past the outdoor pool and jacuzzi and right on to the beach. The landscape and pool area was VERY nicely kept. I would recommend this place.

We arrived late and the security guard was great to deal with. The resort is in a beautiful location and gives old school resort vibes. We didnt make use of any of the amenities included in the 32 dollar resort fee.

To my surprise, this hotel does not have any type of room service/housekeeping unless you stay for longer than 5 days. Not even by request. Also, you are not guaranteed the type of room you reserved. We booked rooms with double beds and we got single beds. Had to change rooms mid stay. Also, they could not manage to keep our rooms close to each other. The staff was unfriendly and could care less about our needs/wishes/requests. The most reasonable request was met with unwillingness and rarely granted. No one who works here smiles. It ruined my trip. I do not recommend this hotel.

Our oceanfront room was incredible. We faced east so seeing the sunrise each morning was a beautiful start to our daily adventures. The room was clean and our particular room had modern fixtures. The pool area and poolside bar were fun to have. We also grilled on site one night. The grounds were beautifully maintained and there was a nice walking path outside the resort along the coast. The only downside was that the parking lot was small. Otherwise we would recommend and would love to stay again!
