Welcome to Kelley’s Island Venture Resort!

Located on the largest island in Lake Erie, Kelleys Island is the perfect summer vacation destination. The Venture Resort is the only resort hotel on the island and is located within walking distance to all of the downtown action and island transportation. We offer modern amenities and beautifully appointed suites, each with their own private patio and incredible lake views!

The Glacier Suite is a first-floor suite. It is divided by the bathroom into a living room and sleeping area. The sleeping area is furnished with a king size bed and the living area has a full sleep sofa for that extra guest or the kids. The suite is equipped with all the amenities for an extended stay including a small refrigerator and microwave.
Other things to note
Across the street, the resort offers a three-tiered deck with seating to enjoy the views of Lake Erie, Marblehead Peninsula, and Cedar Point.

The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are scheduled open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool hours are daily 8AM to 9PM.

Parking is available free of charge at the hotel. If you are not bringing a vehicle, golf cart rentals are available on the island and at the ferry docks through miscellaneous vendors.

Please check daily schedules for Miller Ferry, Jet Express and/or Kelley's Island Ferry to arrive on the island. Boat schedules are subject to change based on seasonality and weather conditions. Boat fares are not included with accommodation and must be purchased separately. Kelleys Island Venture Resort has no affiliation with any island transportation venues.

Very nice and clean room. They had golf carts to rent at the property which was awesome and affordable! We didn’t use the pool but did use the hot tub which was also nice! We went on some hikes and had some good food at one of the local bars. We would stay again for sure.

The room was very nice, if a little bit dark. The big problem was that the pool was shut down by the Health Department, and that's the reason I chose this property. I've been to Kelley's every year for 40 years. I always wanted to try out those condos because of the pool. Big disappointment.

This resort is quaint and comfortable. It's right next door to a nice restaurant, but is also within walking distance to downtown. The views are absolutely gorgeous! The room was very clean and staff was extremely helpful for any needs. The pool and spa were very nice as well.

The hot tub was supposed to open May 16. We checked in May 16. Hot tub was never opened. Our phone had no dial tone and there was a giant hole in the wall from a previous guest by the back door. Knobs would randomly fall off the dressers, the fridge wasn’t cold at all and there was no air vent in the back part so either that person had to roast at night or the front person had to freeze. Pull out sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and had ZERO support (I’m not a large person and all I felt in my back all night was the steel frame). Overall I was really disappointed

The island was beautiful! The hotel was specious! My only complain was the toilet was not clean when we got there ! They should used Clorox to clean it !
