Nice proximity to Safeway. We found a dirty shirt wedged in the crack of the couch. A bandaid on the floor, the elevator floors were sticky. There were multiple dogs barking after 9pm, noisy guests above us, we called the front desk and nothing changed. Breakfast was okay but a pretty small seating area and a little tight for kids and a stroller.

Friendly staff and very helpful! Nice clean room with a comfy king bed and a wet bar/ small sink, microwave and mini fridge. There was a set of silverware for 2 people in the drawer, 2 coffee cups, 2 plates and 1 small serving bowl in the cupboard. There's a 2 cup coffee maker with 1 packet of ground coffee on the kitchen table with a few packets of sugar. If you need more coffee packets, sugar or creamer, that's provided downstairs in the front lobby. Loved that this king bed/ wet bar room had a newer heater/AC unit that was quieter than the other standard king bed room we stayed at before! We slept in a bit until 10 am and missed the free contenental breakfast which I think ended at 9 am or so, but it wasn't a problem. Kinda wished the breakfast was still going until at least 10am, though! It's a very good breakfast assortment and I love their biscuits and gravy, sausages and omelettes! Thank you for another pleasant stay at the Guest House!

Upon entering the room, we were greeted to a dirty floor and odd smells. I proceeded to set my bags on the couch where I found it was covered in dirt and dog hair. I’m usually not picky, so I brushed it off and decided to check the bed. As I pulled back the blankets I found clots dirt on the “clean” sheets. It was then I decided to ask for a different room. They barely said sorry and gave me a key to another room. Entering the elevator, myself and my kids were met with a strong stench of weed. Brushed it off, it’s Washington. Went in the room and immediately checked the couch. Again, dirty and covered in pet hair. I checked the bed and they seemed clean, we were too tired to find another spot, so we decided to stay. Overall it was not a great experience. Bathroom was gross, room was old and dirty and lack of care from staff. Will not stay here again.

This is our 2nd stay at the GuestHouse in Kelso. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room was very clean and appreciated the comfortable bed and warm comforter. The only thing I could suggest is, having more than only one bottle of water that was provided in the room to make coffee in the 2 cup coffee maker machine! We were a party of 2 adults so I had to use the bathroom sink water for more than 1 cup of coffee! But, that wasn't a problem as they also have free coffee made in the lobby for guests as well. To solve this, I brought our 12 cup coffee maker, ground coffee and filters with us from home and plugged it in on the table to use, instead of the little 2 cup maker they provide in the room. Also, the heater/AC unit on the wall by the window was a bit noisy when it turned on and off through the night. Wish they had central forced air heating and cooling, but, it did work fine! The hotel itself is located right behind the Safeway store and is close by the I-5 freeway and our daughter's house so it was very convenient! Loved the free continental breakfast the next morning, also! We will definitely stay there again! Thank You!

Room was sufficient for a family of 5. Breakfast was good, wish the omelet was already cooked, you had to heat it. Fresh fruit for breakfast would have been nice. There was very loud tenants past 10:00, called but nothing was done.

It was a nice hotel just sucked that the elevators were out completely and being that our room was on the thrid floor wasnt fun having to go up and down with all our luggage and having little kids wasnt easy ither. Beds were that comfy and our ac leaked i let the front desk lady know and she seemed to not care. Most my family had issues in the pool as well with the high levels of chlorine made some of the sick. Some of the staff are nice but some are rude just depends who your talking to but other then these issues it wasnt that bad i just dont think we would stay here again.
