This is a large, custom-built log home perfect for family living or as a shared hunting lodge. The home has a spacious floor plan with five bedrooms, comfortably accommodating a large family or multiple families. ​It features a dedicated area with a pool table, making it a great space for entertainment and recreation. Large floor plan allows for additional guests with two queen air mattresses for a total of 16 overnight guests.

Set in a peaceful, rustic country setting, the property offers privacy and beautiful natural surroundings. Enjoy the fresh mountain air from the expansive deck and front porch—ideal for morning coffee, outdoor meals, or relaxing after a day of adventure. The property is intentionally left in its natural state, with no landscaped lawn, giving guests an authentic rural experience surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

​The property is located near public hunting land and is conveniently located just a few miles from the Columbia River, with its boat launches. It's also a short drive from the Canadian border, Red Mountain Ski Resort, and local shopping areas.

This house was a great find! We were looking for a place in the country with no fireworks, where we could check out and connect as a family. The peace and privacy was awesome, while the house itself was modern, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. It was great for the dogs, too - they had tons of fun exploring the surrounding property!

The host is very communicative, polite, and responsive. I really appreciated her help when we reached out with questions. The home was very clean and well stocked. We planned to stay here because the home was described as having air conditioning. The main living area has two mini split units and stays cool and one bedroom has a mini split. No other bedrooms had AC units. In my experience, the other rooms only comfortably cooled off late at night with open windows and fans blowing (we stayed in July when it is hot). There were no curtains in the bedrooms, so if you are sensitive to morning light waking you up, you will want to bring a sleeping eye mask. The home was also hard to find, but the host was available by phone to help us find the home. The driveway to the home is a dirt road with stones, and there is only a very small front yard, which looks different from the listing photos.
