It’s a quiet hotel that’s within walking distance to restaurants and convenient stores. No need to rent a car when you can order a Lyft everywhere you go!

The location was convenient to the arena and all the waterside attractions in downtown Norfolk. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was amazing. Brett was outstanding, friendly and attentive. He was always busy helping other guests and helping clean up during breakfast. All in all, the stay was exceptional.

Excellent staff. Bar is fantastic and not too pricey. Great old town charm. Close to everything fun. Pre-breakfast gets the day started whether your laying by the pool or going shopping on Duvall. Bring your own refillable water bottle.

Overall a nice hotel. My only criticism is the lack of parking most hotels have one parking spot per room. In addition, the staff did not inform me of available public parking 2 blocks away. They simply said find a parking spot on the street.

The location of this property is great- convenient to the waterfront district and Duval street. What really stands out is the service! Everyone we encountered was kind, friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The drinks at the pool were spot on and the happy hour special was a deal. Would stay here again and will recommend to anyone looking for a great, affordable hotel in Old Town. I also like the tip at the end philosophy versus tipping the entire trip- the envelope in the room is a great idea that I wish more places did. Thanks again for a great vacation!

It’s a close walk to Duval street and the Duval loop free bus stops near the hotel. It’s stop number 16 on the route.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Had a wonderful stay. Our room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with fresh bakery items brought in daily. Vey convenient area, in walking distance to Duvall Street within 3 or blocks and in a very quite area. Property was very clean, well maintained nice having 2 pools and a bar outside of the pool area. Parking is on this street, can be challenge, but both times we used the car, we were able to find parking on block. Staff was friendly and we were able to check in earlier. The pool closed at 8, but could still sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely would stay here again.

The Bishop has a great location and worked great for our group. Easy walk from the KeyWest Express. The salt water pools were perfect temperature and a wonderful place to hang out. 1/2 price happy hour at the pool bar every day was a great surprise.
