Great bar, hotel needs more to be Autograph

Although the property went under renovations, it is still over 100 years old. Staff tried to make us comfortable but the uncomfortable accessibility room, leaking toilet and failure to have onsite facilities that can help with repairs was inconvenient.

Couldn’t have found a better place in downtown Key West on Duvall. This freshly renovated property is wonderful. Stayed in room 229 and was greeted with magnificent walk-in shower, lovely room, very large TV, a refrigerator with a digital temperature display, USB ports built into the headrest on both sides of the bed, and a not too soft and not too hard bed. Whoever made the decisions on how to do these rooms did a fabulous job.

Highlights-Live band, atmosphere, great parking, good amenities, location & friendly staff. We were in a difficult situation needing a place to stay at the last minute. The staff was extremely helpful in finding two rooms for couples. After being treated poorly by a competing hotel we were extremely appreciative of the understanding & willingness to help us. The rate per night for the stay & amenities was very fair. I highly recommend this hotel to others.

The facilities were lovely, especially considering being right on Duval. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we even got an early check in when our plane arrived 4 hours before our designated check in time! The location was perfect, anywhere we wanted to go was walkable. The pool area was so inviting and relaxing, we spent every morning there. The pool itself could have done with an improved filter, the water appeared to have a sheen of oil on top and debris in the pool. Nothing a shower after swimming can’t fix though. On the first day, there was no hot water but it was never an issue after that. The bar in the lobby had amazing mojitos and very attentive service. The coffee shop (El Dom) was not our favorite, but there were several coffee shops close to the hotel, most of them were less than a 2-3 minute walk. The facility has a small gym. We utilized this a couple days but the roof had been leaking so the musty smell and puddles on the floor were a deterrent. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and again. For the price and location, you won’t find a better option!
