The room was just perfect for our few day stay. He staff was lovely and so helpful. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, small table, and two comfy chairs. Black out curtains would have been the only thing to make this the perfect stay!

This is a great place to stay in Key West. Close to bars, shopping and restaurants. The pool area is small but quiet and surrounded by beautiful gardens and seating areas. All staff were wonderful and very friendly. Rooms are not luxurious but comfortable. Hey, this is Key West; you won’t be in your room much.

Was looking for a place to stay while in town for the powerboat race. The Douglas House fit the bill perfect perfectly. Although it is just off Duval it is in a quieter part of the neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, and the AC was quiet and worked well. There is a lovely pool area (where I saw mostly couples) and also a small veranda outside each room with seating area to relax. I forgot that Key West is crawling with chickens and roosters, and although they will make themselves known, there were not too many of them near the Douglas House, which made things a bit more quiet in the morning. Special thanks to Hamsi who was helpful and always pleasant.

We were greeted by a gentleman named Hamzi. All hotels should be lucky enough to have someone like him greeting guests. We were made to feel like he was welcoming us into his own home. Hats off to you, Hamzi. The grounds are unbelievably clean and peaceful. We will definitely return!!!
