Simple basic, come prepared

Property overall was just ok. We have been renting properties at the lake for over 8 years and this property unfortunately lacked some basic key qualities that we look for in rental lake properties. The lack of cleanliness and regular maintenance of the backyard, patio, and dock area left a lot to be desired and did prevent our family from enjoying outside time at the lake. Please note, if you have children, many areas of the backyard are not safe to let them roam around, we found large size holes (our kids tripped after stepping into 2 of them while walking down to the dock) and the outside shed is very dilapidated and has a lot of exposed splintered wood, so avoid that. I would also bring some wasp spray or insect spray as there are a lot of wasps and spiders that can inhibit your enjoyment of the back patio. I think this property is better suited to college students or those who maybe do not want to be outside and enjoy the lake views or the lake. The inside of the home was ok and provided basic comforts.
