This was our second stay at the Best Western in Kingston. We enjoyed it so much the first time, when we we're planning another trip upstate we knew that this Best Western was going to be the hotel we stayed at for the night mid journey. We love the indoor courtyard with the pool and arcade, it bring a little something different and special to the hotel that if you want to get out of your room but the weather isnt so nice or you dont want to go out on the town its a nice little space to walk around and enjoy with the family. Room was clean and staff was very helpful with any requests we had. Breakfast now is about $18.00 instead of being free but I overheard staff say it was to deter theft from people not staying in the hotel...some people ruin things for the rest of I guess. Maybe there's away to include it with the room and give people a breakfast pass. $18.00 per person is a lot for a basic continental breakfast of just bagels, yogurt and waffles etc.

I was surprised that there was a $25 early check-in fee before 3:00 p.m., but I do understand the policy since people will take advantage of the beautiful pool and atrium as soon as they can.

This property is in deep need of renovations. The first room the heat wasn't working the second room the hot water was barely noticeable. The rooms are old the carpets I would not touch with my bare feet Do not stay here

My stay was disappointing. The comforter in my room was ripped in multiple places, which made the room feel poorly maintained. The staff rarely answered the front desk phone, and my key cards stopped working every single day—requiring multiple trips to the front desk to get them reset. The hallways also consistently smelled like weed, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of these issues, I decided to leave a full day earlier than my reservation was booked for. Unfortunately, resolving any refund for the unused night has been difficult and frustrating. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Need more fresh fruit, yogurt, skim Milk not just whole, Think more about those waning to eat healthier 1st room reeked of smoke 2nd room no heat. - took 2 hours maintenance still couldn’t fix 3rd room was ok. Hallways are dark and gloomy, needs a painting, carpet needs replacing. No tea in room as indicated there would be. Staff not helpful later in evening. Breakfast not worth $17.95. Best staff over extended maintenance man (Tony) Long term lady in dining room (Rose) and staff Chris. Manager not available at check out so that I could speak directly, Why would I stay at a Best Western Plus again?
