I recently stayed at the Shirley Retreat Hotel in Jamaica and had a truly wonderful experience. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which made the entire stay feel smooth from start to finish. My room was spotless, the bathroom was very clean, the sheets were crisp and fresh, and the King bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff added even more to the stay. The security guard at night, Patrick, and another gentleman who worked during the day were always present on the property and consistently kind in every interaction. Their warm and attentive presence made me feel safe and welcomed throughout my stay. Breakfast each morning was very good and filling, and overall the property is perfect for a quick trip. While it doesn’t have the typical hotel amenities like a bar or pool, it provides exactly what you need if you’re in Kingston to rest and recharge for the next day. They also clean the room daily with fresh sheets and towels. I was extremely pleased with my stay and definitely plan to return in the future. The cost to stay here was at least 60% less than the major hotels in the area like the S Hotel, AC Hotel and R Hotel. The Shirley Retreat Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kingston.

The staff is nice. We enjoyed our stay everyone was so welcoming. The chef is amazing great breakfast. This was a last minute booking. No extra fees, no waiting for the room to be ready. Stable wifi. A/C blows ice cold. The high wood ceiling is an added bonus. Room darkening curtains if you want to sleep in. Hot water with pull down shower head attachment. Quiet location with 24 hr security. My fiance and I had an amazing weekend stay. 10/10 recommend. Don't hesitate book here NOW!

This was a place booked last miniute for business trip. They went out of there way to ensure that my son did not miss his flight as he missed it the first check out day . He went back directly from the airport after the missed flight and they accomadated him. The security was sent to do the wake up call the next day. Security on property and reliable staff. Would definitely recommend this place.
