The Reef resort was lovely as were the staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. They pride themselves on their scuba diving and beautiful reef which can be accessed using the paddle boards or kayaks which are free to use. This island is very small and underdeveloped which was our main reason for visiting, and while the Reef resort was amazing an adult only option would have been a better choice for us. If you are a family travelling with children you will not be disappointed

We stayed here for three nights, and we loved the staff members and the great service that they provided. Although the reef is a bit far from the beach, accessible snorkeling is just a short walk away. In addition, the food was excellent.

Resort at wonderful beach!

Koh Kradan has the most wonderful beaches and snorkeling areas are close to the beach! The Resort is nice but staff is not so active and many small mistakes with cleaning of the room. Also they not follow up corrections. But Koh Kradan beaches are top 5 in Thailand and it's not crowded! So excellent place for atleast 2 nights/ 3 days!

Reef Resort is a good choice at Koh Kradan

I spent 4 lovely days at the Reef Resort. Room was comfortable and clean. Hot water for showering was a bit inconsistent. Beautiful beach and waters just out front. Food was overall good except breakfast was a little sparse.

A totally relaxing experience

A wonderful resort, right on the beach, and which combines comfort with relaxation. The staff were all friendly and we felt very much at home here. Will definitely be back, so nice to see a resort with no beach umbrellas (only trees for shade), no hotels, jet skis or even roads. LEts hope it remains unspoilt.

No frills hotel on an amazing island

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Reef Resort. The room was basic and the bathroom a little weird, but the location was amazing. The scenery is simply breathtaking. There are only a handful of resorts on Koh Kradan and that's basically it. The hotel is situated close to the beach and excellent snorkeling. Check in is comprised of walking up to an open-air bar on the beach. Pretty simple. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. Food was not great but there aren't many options since restaurants on the island shut down at 9:30. The island is paradise - if you're willing to deal with some inconveniences. We were wanting to get away from it all and we weren't upset by any of these things.

Ihana hotelli ihanalla Kradanilla!

Rannalla oleva siisti hotelli, jossa muutama huone maantasossa, pääset lasiovista suoraan ulos. Kylpyhuoneessa pääsee nautiskelemaan ulkosuihkusta. Hotellissa pystyi maksamaan kaiken kortilla, mikä oli kiva yllätys pienellä saarella. Ravintola oli hyvä ja respassa todella hyvä palvelu ja avuliaat työntekijät, jotka puhuivat hyvää englantia. Menisin ehdottomasti uudestaan.

WOW, what a place!

We stayed at Reef resort for 2 nights in feb 2025. It was just amazing. A perfect little gem around the Trang islands. The staff was just amazing espacially with our 3 year old son. He had the best time and it was hard for him to leave. He still talks about his friends with a big smile on his face. We were also very impressed with the food, we didn't need to go to other resorts on the island since Reef did such a good job! Can highly recommend Reef resort! 10/10.

The resort is very simple. The rooms are very small and functional, everything is clean, and the air conditioning is pleasantly quiet. The bathroom is practically completely outside. The shower is outside, as there is no door from the shower to the bathroom, the whole area is open to all animals, and the air there is very humid and stuffy. The rooms are not comfortable. There is also a slight smell from the drain. The location is fantastic, and the pool is nice too. However, the area around the pool could use some renovation; the floor and the outdoor showers by the pool are in poor condition. The service from all the staff is excellent. The breakfast is very simple but sufficient. The dishes in the restaurant have all been delicious. The arrival/departure and onward journey were well organized for us.

Fantastic welcome by the manager Grenta. Good information on arrival. Nice room with good beds and great bathroom with outdoor shower. Nice breakfast and good food in the restaurant. Nice with free padleboard, kayaks and tabletennis. Overall a great place to stay at Koh Kradan :-)

Väldigt trevlig personal och mysigt ställe att bo på! Perfekt snorkling från stranden, bra solstolar, okej frukost. Alla var hjälpsamma och brydde sig. Rummet är ljust och fräscht, dock lite hårda kuddar.
