Tämä vehreässä Poipu Kai -lomakeskuksessa, Lanai Villas -alueella, sijaitseva koskematon L-muotoinen koti ja oma autotalli luovat intiimin piha-alueen nurmikolla ja patio. Havaijin teemalla varustetussa kodissa on runsaasti moderneja mukavuuksia: taulutelevisiot, DVD / Blu-Ray-soittimet, nopea langaton, iPod-telakointiasemat ja sängyt, jotka tarjoavat hyvät yöunet. Kaunis kotisi poissa kotoa toivottaa sinut rentoutumaan ja nauttimaan upeasta vierailusta Kauai "puutarhasaarelle".

Oveltasi on upea 3 minuutin kävelymatka Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa -puistoon, jossa on monia kauppoja, ravintoloita ja oleskelutiloja. Fantastic

Super comfortable for my family of 5. It’s next door to the Grand Hyatt so convenient for a conference or to enjoy the pool area there as a guest. The beach is a short walk away with great sunsets and perfect waves for boogie boarding. We had such a fantastic time!

Wonderful rental for family

The rental was a perfect fit for our family. Easy access to a pool, walking distance to perfect snorkeling beach where we saw a monk seal, turtles, a variety of fish and dolphins further out. The home was spacious, clean and well equipped for our family needs. We loved the little secluded patio and hope to return to the same house as a family tradition moving forward.

Awesome home

This home was just right for us and 4 kids. Walking distance to shipwreck Beach and a 5 mins drive to restaurants in Poipu. What’s most impressive are the little things the house comes with— A trolley to carry snorkel gear, body boards, a surf broad, beach chairs, frisbe etc ..

The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment, dishes, etc, we needed for meal prep.The boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and carrying cart were a big plus. The walk to the pool was a little longer than I would have liked, and it took us a while to find it. (It's located behind Kalapaki Joe's Restaurant) But the pool and hot tub were both clean, and the kids really enjoyed them. The house was also stocked with a great variety of books, DVDs, and games.The outside BBQ/lanai area was comfortable and a wonderful hangout spot. Would highly recommend Kauai Vacation Rentals.

Fantastic place to stay, kid-friendly

We feel lucky to have found this place on VRBO as it made our stay quite enjoyable. We were visiting for a conference at Grand Hyatt but wanted to stay at a house given we have 3 little ones. This place is walking distance to Grand Hyatt - a leisurely (slow) 10min walk with toddlers. It is in a residential area, so the closest restaurants/coffee shops are at the Hyatt. The pathway that takes us to Grand Hyatt/beach is right behind the yard (no car traffic) and we see plenty of people taking a stroll throughout the day. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and the neighbors friendly. My 2yo daughter wandered off one day and made it two houses down before she was noticed by concerned pedestrians who stayed with her and notified me. Other restaurants/shops are a short 7min drive away. Many areas of interest are also close by. We drove to the Baby Beach and spent half a day there. We also got a resort pass for the Grand Hyatt (they have amazing pools) and spent a fun day. Grocery chains (Walmart, Safeway, Costco) are about 20-25min out, close to the airport. Inside the house, the appliances are great, AC works well, showers are nice. There is a good collection of books and board games. What I appreciated the most were the booster chairs that made our lives so much easier. Inside the garage were other things you wish you had but couldn't bring with you, like a red wagon to haul everything to the beach in, inflatable tube, folding chairs, etc. Plenty of towels/beach towels, clean sheets. Really appreciate the attention to detail and the amenities.

Bright, Quiet and Relaxing

Location was awesome- we walked to Shipwreck beach for tide pools and short drive to Poipu Beach Park for swimming (walk was too far for the kids age 8 and 10- had tears the day we tried). Made use of the beach supplies in the garage (chairs, boogie boards mostly but there was a wagon, big coolers, umbrella was missing a pin). Pool and jacuzzi was down the path a ways and was good for an afternoon. The green belt path was really nice to walk in the mornings with banana trees and flowering plants. We did lots of cooking and baking- not much in terms of spices, staples, but that always varies on what people leave behind and what gets thrown away. Kitchen tools were in decent shape. Knives were sharp and pans were nice quality. Neighbors were so very sweet and let the kids feed lizards! House was super quiet!! No roosters, no loud talking, no loud parties. I wish the house was cleaner- it could definitely use a deep cleaning (wiping down drawer/sink handles/towel racks, removal of decor that catches dust) and refreshed bath towels. Bathrooms really need updating but did the job. Master bed was comfortable. Washer/dryer was put to use and worked well.

The house was bright and breezy and in an optimal location on the Poipu Kai green belt, close to the Grand Hyatt and beach trails as well as within walking distance to Brennecke’s beach for sunset and beach time. We enjoyed the Poipu Kai pool as well. The unit was well stocked with chairs, beach toys, coolers and lots of games and books too! The only disappointment for us was that one of the bedrooms stated it had a queen bed however it was only a full and was too short for my husband’s comfort. It was a small room so I doubt a queen would have fit. Still we had an overall pleasant stay and would highly recommend and consider a return to this lovely little Poipu Shells home!

Amazing home in an amazing spot

We absolutely LOVED this home. It was spotless- I think the cleanest and most welcoming rental we have stayed in ever. The energy and feeling of the house is pure aloha- so warm and happy and gorgeous. It was very well stocked with toys, puzzles, games, tons of beach toys, snorkel masks, towels, and even sunscreen and a nice straw sun hat that I borrowed. We would love to stay here again. The view was incredible, we loved watching the birds and people walking by, the view of the mountains is fabulous and it’s a short walk to poipu and shipwreck beach- all along a lovely and safe path which our 3 year old loved. Thank you so much for keeping this home so nice and awesome. We would love to stay here again in the future. Aloha

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shells at Poipu was lovely. The house was in a nice neighborhood and it was clean and spacious. There was everything you need for your stay from kitchen appliances to loads of beach towels.We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. The only drawback was that we couldn't find the shared pool. There was nothing in the house to tell us where to go. We took off looking for it one day and tried the key in 6 different pools before calling the office to locate the pool. We were given verbal instructions how to get there from a woman who didn't really know where the pool was located. Finally after over an hour of looking we found it. That could have easily have been avoided by having a map at the house.

Wonderful Week Stay at Shells of Poipu in July

Our family of 3 and our daughters best friend enjoyed a week long stay at Shells of Poipu. The property was roomy, clean, and having 2 bedrooms on one side of the house with the master bedroom on the other gave us all privacy. Huge windows made it lovely to look out at the green belt and all the beautiful plants and trees. We enjoyed meeting the neighbors in the evenings around sunset. My favorite part was the 1 minute walk to the Grand Hyatt where I watched every sunrise and moonrise. We were also treated on our last day to the beginning of the historic waves the island hadn"t seen since mid to late 90"s. Stunningly beautiful place to visit.
