The room was super small. The location is very convenient despite that its not the best neibhbourhood. The price is high despite expedia saying thag theyve offered discount already. Found out that booking beforehand is worse, book on the spot and I could have saved 10pc and more and gor a free breakfast. The room is sooo small and the fan is sooooo loud.

Staff were very courteous, responsive and helpful. Nice to provide water refill and self serve laundromat. Room was small, not enough storage space. Bathroom was cruise ship size. Hotel shuttle bus schedule was not flexible for airport transfer.

The Dorsett is a pleasant hotel, clean, comfortable, and with very agreeable staff. It offers a good shuttle service between 10am and 6pm to 5 major points of interest. The room was fine, with great shower pressure, quite well noise-insulated, but if people in nearby rooms are determined to be obnoxiously loud for hours into the night, few hotels can combat that. For us, it was only one night out of nine, though. The room was ok for two, not cramped, but with limited seating. We were happy with it. The bathroom area is behind frosted glass next to the bed. Breakfast was varied, with both Western and Asian hot components, plus fruit, juice, pastries - more than adequate for typical travellers. Housekeeping staff were excellent: efficient and unobtrusive. I'd be very happy to return here.

The “Comfort” room was extremely compact but generally functional. However, it lacked adequate storage space, no wardrobe or coat hooks, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. The bathroom was similarly small but serviceable, and the shower worked well if you don’t mind shower curtains. Breakfast was included in my booking and labeled as a “continental breakfast,” but it turned out to be a mini buffet with a pleasant variety of fruits, pastries, dim sum, and Chinese dishes, an unexpected and welcome surprise. The filter coffee was awful, though there is a bean-to-cup machine available, which made a much better alternative. Reception staff were not particularly welcoming, especially one tall young staff member, who seemed to do the bare minimum. The breakfast area on the restaurant floor was open in the mornings, but during the day, access was blocked with a grubby sticker on the lift button claiming the floor was under refurbishment, clearly misleading. A simple sign indicating “Breakfast Only” would have been more honest and professional. On a more positive note, the housekeeping team was friendly and efficient, keeping the room clean and tidy. However, cleaning is only provided upon request, so guests should be aware of that policy.

Upon arrival to the hotel, the lobby is beautiful. But once I arrived in our hotel room it was like a downgrade. The technology in the room was so outdated, even the HVAC thermostat is old and really noisy. Omg the shower on was so tight, one can nearly turn around in it. What was annoying was the shower curtain, when showering it was blowing all over the place.

We were very impressed with this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was in good repair and well designed. The hotel facilities were very sufficient. We particularly liked the friendly staff. We found the breakfast dining to be of a high standard. We will be returning.
