I was assigned a seaview room, nothing to complain with this price. The view is fantastic! However, the seaview window is on the corrider side, so for those who need privacy may prefer putting the curtain on.
I would suggest people to bring your own soap for hand washing and plastic slippers, as the bathroom floor won't dry by itself and no soap provided. Prepare a one-off towel as a temporarily door mat would also be a good idea especially during rainy days, things won't easily dry even with the conditioner on. The staff helped us to dry the corrider which was good.
The bedsheet, pillow case etc is generally clean, but there is mould on the bathroom door and some other places. The facilities are clean and quite new.
If you fill in all the neccessary information and upload passport and photos online before check in, the checkin process is smooth.
The free shuttle bus is ok and good enough for me, plus there are also other public transport. You can even rent a locobike within the area when needed. On weekend, you can take ferry to Kwun Tong and North Point. The pier is quite near to the hostel (but remember to check the schedule of the ferry). There are not many restaurants and shops in the area, and no fridge in the room, so it's better to eat in other areas.
Check comments for this place on other websites as well before booking, that will give you a more realistic expectation.
