It’s a very conveniently located hotel, few seconds walk from Yau Ma Tei station, few minutes to the busy Mong Kok area. The rooms are clean and the staff are very polite. The bath/shower could do with an upgrade (it uses a shower curtain which doesn’t prevent water going onto the floor). The twin/double rooms include many plug sockets as well as USB sockets. Little things that could be improved is the provision of cutlery/spoons for the in-room kettle, rather than a wooden stirrer.

Fabulous with some downsides

Not my first time staying at Cityview. Location is great with the train station nearby and walking distance to food and shops. One downside is the facilities in the bathroom where the shower tap was loose and the water pressure is slow for the toilet bowl tank. Probably due to the age of the hotel but overall still loved the stay

Everything was good about this hotel, except for the beds. The bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. (My husband, however, thought it was fine)

The Mrs. and I absolutely love this gem of a hotel situated on a small quiet street yet still close enough to MTR A2 exit and the A21 Cityflyer bus to/from HK International Airport on Nathan Road. Wish we had known about this hotel earlier, which, for not much more than staying at a cramped hostel, offers incredible value, spacious rooms, convenient location, and super friendly staff. Thank you, Cityview, we will be back for sure the next time we’re back in Hong Kong. In the meantime, we will definitely recommend to our family and friends!

Terrible mattress!

All aspects of the stay were pretty good except the hardness of the mattress, I mean it didn’t give much in term of comfort. The mattress gave me a stiff back and ache in my lower back. Definitely an area they need to improve upon.
