The front desk staff were not very welcoming. There was no introduction to the hotel facilities or our room, and barely any interaction at all, it felt as if they wanted to send us away as quickly as possible.
We had our first meal at the hotel restaurant, and while the food was not impressive and quite expensive compared to average city prices, the restaurant staff were very friendly and polite.
Our first night’s sleep was horrible due to constant noise from the heating/air-conditioning system. We informed the front desk about this issue, but were told they could not help as the engineer was not in house. I then asked if earplugs could be provided as an alternative, since no solution or even an acknowledgment was offered, but the answer was no, and we were advised to buy them from a nearby store instead.
Overall, the room is clean, thanks to housekeeping, who did a good job, and it is a good size. It also looks better than the photos online. However, if you are expecting Hyatt-level guest service, you will be disappointed.
