I wouldn’t stay here again. From the moment we walked in, there was a funky smell that never really went away. The patio overlooking the beach had so much potential, but it was filthy - and.so was the bathtub. The beds were old and lumpy, and to make matters worse, a family a few doors down, reportedly had bed bugs in their room. I booked it thinking the lower price was just a bonus since we didn’t need anything fancy - just a clean place to sleep. The reviews seemed decent, so I figured it would be fine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The whole place felt unclean and "sticky." Definitely not worth the savings this time. I will say though, that the staff were friendly and so kind. We arrived to the island early and they had a room available to get us in- no extra charge. So we were able to drop our bags, get our bathing suites on and walk to the beach. They doted over our dog and son and suggested great places to eat. They were very welcoming and also the reason for my 2 stars...

Loved it.

Me and my family booked this stay for 2 nights unfortunately the room’s fridge wasn’t getting cold so I contacted through text about my issue and they said they was gonna change rooms for us but this place was booked with no vacancy but they got us a room Next door at sand dunes with a major upgrade from our last room that we had booked. Perfect places, very clean both locations & very nice and polite people. Not far to walk from your room to the ocean. Will stay with them again most definitely!!! Thank you guys for a wonderful first time experience.

Can’t beat the location of this place. It’s your standard motel, the staff was accommodating and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing that could be better is the room could use some touch up paint here and there. Honestly though, I had a wonderful stay there. I would go again.

Unpleasant stay

There was unexpected construction crews onsite. Friendly crew but they started early. It would have been nice to know before arriving. There was a family with an autistic child staying above us. I understand the family's challenge but the child ran and jumped all night! My granddaughter was terrified the ceiling was going to fall on her and she couldn't fall asleep. I did notify the owners. They apologized but it would have been appreciated if management had made an effort to move us to another room. The kid was still jumping at 5AM so we decided to pack up and leave out of pure exhaustion! Other than the terrible experience, the room itself was clean and comfortable.
