A relaxing and tranquil stay

We love this villa and enjoyed very much during our stay. This villa is right below the philosopher's walking trail, surrounded by beautiful trees and temples. There is a garden and pond inside the villa area. As the house next to us is under renovation, we are free to walk around the lovely garden. If another villa is completed, the level of privacy might reduced. I am not sure. The villa is super clean, tidy and well equipped. It's fully renovated and well maintained. Mind you this villa is at east/northern part of Kyoto, not at the downtown or close to subway. There is no convenience store or supermarket around. There is a lovely small café just 5 minutes walk away. If you want a tranquil stay and keep yourself closer to the nature, this is the ideal place. I stayed in hotels on previous visit to Kyoto providing Japanese amour. The experience of staying at Villa Kan Un An outshined all others. It takes away the super fancy bits and gives you a local and peaceful vibes.

부모님과 같이 간여행이라 숙박시설이 제일 중요하다고 생각했는데 예약시 사진과 동일하고 주변이 조용하고 정원 및 산책로(철학의 길)가 주변에 있어 좋았습니다. 방도 넓고 침구가 무척 깨끗하니 맘에 들었습니다. 전반적으로 만족하였습니다. 가을에 또한번 가보고 싶은 곳입니다. 어른들과 여행하기 좋은 곳이었습니다 추천하고 싶네요
