Reserved a room for 2 nights for 4 people, when arrived, realized the pictures and reviewers were rigged and misleading, the room was smaller than a shoebox, just the beds and no place for our luggage, placed looked dated, I requested refund, but it was not refundable, save yourself some trouble and book the Hyatt next door.

Good location close to Subway station and various bus lines. Overall a pleasant stay, but the room was really small. I do not recommend the breakfast buffet unlelss you are in a hurry in the morning. Definetely don't book breakfast ahead of time. I might look for different accomodation option if I were to return to Kyoto.

It’s really close to local train station. Great staff, nice and clean room. I chose this location wanting to stay close to walking distance from local train station. But away from my area of interest at Higashiyama district.
